Irina (Sri Chinmoy): Yes, we see each other in the Spiritual World and often communicate. All Spirits who loved God, loved people, and, naturally, themselves. The consciousness of God means being in unity with Him and in unity with His Love. If a person was born in some country and was taught a certain religion by his parents and social environment, then, of course, he will consider the supreme God of that religion to be the highest being for himself. If he leads a sincere life of love in this religion, he becomes a conscious spiritual brother to all other people who live even by the laws of other religions but also follow the path of Light and Love.
To judge a person for adhering to another religion is a path away from God. It is always necessary to understand that if a person adheres to a certain religion, it is either because they were raised that way in childhood, taught love for this religion, for these temples, for some external manifestations, or the person already came at a conscious adult age, and then, all the more, they chose the religion that was closer to their heart at that moment in time. Of course, a person can change it, and that happens. But in any case, in any religion, there is a possibility of spiritual development up to the complete realization of the Divine potential.
Why is that? Because everything that exists on Earth exists by the Will of God and is created by His energies. Those religious and spiritual paths that could not lead to complete Divine realization, if they are started by people's will, they end after a few generations, because there is no Divine presence and influx of energy there. These energies simply disintegrate. I also want to say that any teaching: spiritual, esoteric, religious, can be tested in this way for compliance with the Divine plan, including my own.
If after the teacher who preached it passes into the Spiritual world — the teacher, or mediator, prophet, contactee (call it what you will) — who brought this idea around which the egregor, something new, is built, if after his departure, physical death, three generations have passed, and this teaching still exists, prospers, and moves towards expansion, then this indicates that it is supported by Divine energies. And if it begins to disintegrate, and in those parts that remain, something opposite to what this teacher said is preached, changes occur, this indicates that there is no influx of energy to support this teaching.
One generation is approximately 25 years. It is possible to assess how useful a given teacher's teaching has been for the Earth 75 years after their disembodiment. Why after such a time? Because generations of people change, and this is a test of this teaching for its usefulness, practicality, and, since it is a spiritual teaching, in the matter of spiritual development.
If you have studied religions, some teachings, you have seen that many of them did not stand the test of time. But this does not mean that they will not arise again a little later. Perhaps there was no suitable time in the noosphere of the Earth, because God gives energies for each teaching when He wishes, and when He sees benefit for some part of the Souls on Earth from this teaching, from its practice, from its theory, and so on.

I, like many teachers who came from the philosophy of the Vedas, studied it from books. It is clear that it was Sankhya and Yoga, and much more. I had a somewhat different view than the contactee and esotericist.

They describe the process of connecting with the Higher Self, the spiritual path, like psychologists. But I did it figuratively, by my feelings. For me, everything was one. As for communication. Can someone intrude? Into what? Into the communication of the Soul with God?
Rupavati: No. If a person believes they can speak directly with the Higher Self and ask some questions, is there a possibility that someone else, a wrong one, will answer? Or will they really hear the Higher Self's answer?
Irina (Sri Chinmoy): It depends on that person's faith. If they believe the Higher Self will answer, the Higher Self will answer. If they doubt that the Higher Self will answer, they can block this answer themselves. Then anyone can answer in the sense that they themselves have blocked this contact, like a communication channel. With the Higher Self, one must communicate without doubts, and if there are any, the first thing to do is to ask the Higher Self to help remove them, to show the reason, to strengthen faith.
Faith is a feeling that gives birth to energy for some action. If a person does something and doubts, they are like a person who started and quit, quickly changes the direction of their thoughts. It is like a person who wanted to climb a mountain or run a marathon. They have a goal, but starting to do it, they felt doubt that they could run there and returned back. There are people who doubt many of their actions.
But there are people with character. They set a goal and go towards it no matter what, possessing strong faith in themselves, in achieving their capabilities. And there are people who begin to doubt and deviate from the path. These two different types are formed for different reasons. But if you belong to the second type — the doubting one — it will manifest not only in communication with the Higher Self. It will manifest in deeds, in constant doubts. Even if you receive, for example, an answer from the Higher Self.
Such a person may start doubting whether it is correct or not, may start asking again. They doubt themselves; such is their character. To avoid doubting, one must fully believe in oneself, and for that, one must accept oneself, love oneself, and recognize oneself as an inseparable particle of God. Despite the fact that you have separated, like a drop from the ocean, an energetic connection remains between the drop and the ocean. If God broke contact with you, you would immediately disappear.
Without God, nothing exists. That which exists is in contact with God, but it can either be aware of it or not. So realize God in your Soul, in your contact with the Higher Self, and if you feel doubts, do not discard them, it is useless. If there is a splinter in your heart, it will still hurt until you pull it out.

And if a person lives only for this incarnation, its needs, and does not think about what will be after, where they will go, to what level, and what they will do there, that person does not love themselves as a Spirit. They may love themselves as a body, but the body is only a temporary part of them. A part of which they may have had very many (other bodies) before this incarnation.
Of course, the body needs to be taken care of. But not only the body, but also the Spirit. When a person harmoniously cares for the body and the Spirit, then they truly love themselves. And what is care? It is understanding, acceptance, and understanding of certain needs. If you reject a need and do not react to it in any way, do not transform it into something else, and so on, that is not self-love. This same need will then manifest in another desire. My path is the path of harmony, when a person accepts. And what is self-acceptance? It is recognizing your right to live the way you want, exactly you.
