Summary of the First Essay: "The Trial of Doubt as a Path to a Mission"
Before immersing in the dramatic chronicle — a summary of the analytical research on which this docudrama is built.
Introduction. The first essay analyzes the 2018 correspondence as a unique document — the "ground zero" of the Cassie phenomenon. In 2018, Irina (Cassie) is not a public figure, but a private individual from the provinces who, after 13 years of contact and six years of silence, brings her experience to the judgment of the "in-the-know" community. Her goal is crystal clear and tragic: "to figure out whether this was real or just a product of my imagination." She is not seeking fame; she is seeking ontological rehabilitation — confirmation that 13 years of her life were not a hallucination.
Part I. The Psychology of the Search for Truth. Cassie consistently adopts the stance of a "simple girl." She does not use esoteric jargon or appeal to authority. Her main argument is the memory of her body and feelings: "I remember that this happened to me." She came not to teach, but to ask. Psychologically, this is an attempt to shift the burden of verification onto the community, which, in her opinion, should have the tools to distinguish reality from hallucination.
However, she falls into a "trap of skepticism": the forum demands proof (photos, analyses, witnesses), but Kirhiton forbids anything that could be verified. Technology fails, witnesses are not allowed, material objects are confiscated. To believe in the reality of her experience, one must take her word for it — but the rules of discourse do not allow that. Her sincerity and bitterness over this contradiction form the main psychological content of the correspondence.
Identity Crisis: The question "Who am I?" is more acute for her than "Who are they?" Contacts since age 13 have shaped her personality. Acknowledging their unreality would be equivalent to admitting she is mentally ill. Appeals to psychiatrists ("puncture, EEG, X-ray — everything is normal") are her shield against accusations of madness.
Part II. The Ufological Community as "The Jury." Forum participants act as amateur detectives. Their approach is multi-layered: factual verification (Gamma Cassiopeiae cannot have planets, 2% sulfur dioxide on Daraal is lethal, a soft spacesuit at 96 atmospheres on Venus is impossible), psychological analysis (connection to John Keel's book, the word "theomachy" from an interest in revolutionary history), linguistic expertise (the "Daraal" language is Hebrew, Yiddish, Sanskrit, and the alphabet is a psychological test). Evolution of tone: from curiosity to irritation and accusations of trolling.
A key figure is Vladimir Kukolnikov from "Kosmopoisk." For the forum members, he is the last resort, a "real specialist." His willingness to work with Cassie without proof, his participation in TV shows, legitimizes her in the eyes of the media. For the forum members, this becomes an act of betrayal of methodology.
Part III. Spiritual and Cultural Analysis. Cassie's story is an archetype of initiation in the Jungian sense: call, trials, mentor, crisis, return with a mission. The forum became her "desert," her "purgatory." The forum members' doubt paradoxically acted as a catalyst, forcing her to crystallize her identity.
In the discussions about the "chip," the technical and spiritual clash. For ufologists, it is a device that should leave traces (be visible on an X-ray). For Cassie, it is a metaphor for connection that requires no physical confirmation. In her later YouTube broadcasts, the chip becomes a central element of the narrative: she retransmits mental packets of spirits through bio-chips implanted by aliens.
Cassie's situation is a crisis of testimony in the post-truth era. Personal, deep experience cannot be verified by traditional scientific methods. The demand for proof and the absolute impossibility of providing it create a vacuum, filled either by pathologization or by faith. The ufologists render a verdict of "insufficient data," leaving room for alternative interpretations.
Conclusion. The forum captured the moment of the birth of a public figure from a private individual, crushed by the weight of her own experience and society's doubt. The disappointment in the possibility of being heard and understood by the "in-the-know community" pushed her to seek another audience — one ready to accept her experience as a given and explore it from within, not from without. The meeting with Maxim, the creation of the YouTube channel, hundreds of thousands of subscribers — this is not a refutation of the forum, but its tragic consequence.
"The Cassie we see on the forum is a person desperately trying to reconcile her inner world with the outer one. Irina Podzorova, the leader of the 'Cassiopeia' project in 2026, is a person who has accepted her inner world as the only possible reality and built an external, collective one around it. The Ufocomm forum became that 'purgatory' through which her story lost its connection to the world of 'proof,' but gained immortality in the world of 'meaning.'"
Docudrama
LIGHTS UP. IRINA (32 years old), in simple home clothes, sits behind an old laptop. On the backdrop – the Ufocomm.ru logo, avatars of forum participants.
Scene 1. The Confession (July 2018)
IRINA (typing and speaking aloud, slowly, with pauses):
"Hello! I had a long-term contact, presumably with humanoids. I want to figure out with your help: was it real or just a product of my imagination. I am hoping for help from competent ufologists, as this question is not trivial: I really need the opinion of people experienced in this matter. I am ready to answer all questions. Thank you all in advance! It started in 1999, when I was 13. At first there were physical contacts, and when I stopped going to them, mental ones began. Location: Voronezh region. If these are hallucinations, then everything is clear, but if not, then the question arises: what was the goal of those who contacted me? Personally, if these contacts are real, they brought me no benefit; no matter how hard I tried to obtain proof of their reality, I failed. Every time I asked them to make contact with someone else, they answered that the contact must be kept secret and that their government ordered them to have secret contactees here. I kept quiet for a while, and then told people close to me about the contacts. Almost no one believed me, which is understandable, but now, a long time after the last contact in 2012, I am still interested to know what it was, what 13 years of my life were spent on. I will be very grateful if you help me figure this out once and for all."
Notifications flash on the backdrop. Avatars appear.
VOICE OF REY (cold, businesslike):
"1. Is this some specific place? Did you go somewhere and suddenly see... And then did you constantly go there, or did someone somehow bring you there, invite you? 2. There is another reason for my questions about the physical contact location. The thing is, maybe something else anomalous was happening there with other people and, say, 'Kosmopoisk' has some information about it in its archives. Specifically regarding the Voronezh region."
IRINA:
"1. The first time I saw them was in the village of Peski, Povorinsky district, near the park. It was in July 1999, in the evening. That time, one of them said his name was Kirhiton and offered to show me their planet, saying it would take no more than two minutes. Whether I was actually there, I don't know, I would like to clarify that myself, but I remember that together with five 'aliens,' I entered a large, black, triangular-shaped 'ship' and visited their planet. After that, Kirhiton said he would come to me again and brought me back. By my feeling, the first contact lasted no more than half an hour, but not two minutes. I came home and didn't tell anyone, and a few days later the contact repeated in a different place, and it wasn't a black triangle but a disk, like an upside-down saucer. The second time, Kirhiton offered me to become a contactee and indicated a place where I was supposed to come twice a week, in the evenings. That place was in the forest, near my home, and I went there for several months. 2. I don't know anything about that, and despite repeated attempts, I was unable to find any witnesses to my contacts."
VOICE OF VIK (calm, thoughtful):
"Yes, yes, elaborate on this point. It's key. If you doubt the reality of your contacts but consider them 'physical' at the beginning – then explain what makes you think so?"
IRINA:
"The terms 'physical contact' and 'mental contact' were suggested to me by these beings. The difference is this: for physical contact, I needed to go to a designated place and time and wait there for the appearance of the 'flying saucer.' It never landed on the ground, but hovered about five meters above me. A small ladder descended from it, and I climbed up into the 'saucer.' For mental contact, I didn't need to go anywhere; it could start anywhere and anytime. At such moments, I stopped perceiving my surroundings and from the outside seemed to lose consciousness. Before my eyes, I would see Kirhiton and communicate with him mentally. I remembered the content of mental contacts worse than physical ones, so according to the terms of the contact, for each missed physical contact I had five mental ones."
VOICE OF VIK:
"So, you physically left your house in your body and went to the designated place? Did you perceive the aircraft tactilely as real and physical? Did other family members notice your absence from home during the contact?"
IRINA (voice quieter, more intimate):
"Yes. Of course. I climbed into the 'saucer,' behind the door was a corridor that then split in two. I turned right and entered a large room. There, along the wall, were objects resembling chairs, only they couldn't be moved from their spot. Kirhiton stood by the opposite wall, on which some lights were flashing, buttons were blinking, and strange signs were appearing and disappearing. I sat down on a 'chair' and held firmly onto the armrests. Kirhiton pressed something, and after 3-4 seconds I felt a loss of support under me, nausea, and dizziness. This state lasted about 5 minutes or a little longer, and during this time Kirhiton told me what we would do during this contact. Usually, he showed me planets, talked about stars, or the customs of his planet. But we could also fly to a 'lunar base,' which according to him was on the far side of the Moon. Or we could just talk without visiting any planets. Usually, the contact lasted about an hour, and then Kirhiton dropped me off at the same place and flew away, and I returned home. At first, I hid the contacts, and when I left for them, I told my mom I was going for a walk before bed. Several times mom asked me where I had been for so long; I made up something about meeting a friend, etc. When I told her where I was actually going, she didn't believe me and tried to follow me. When she was following me, I, unaware of it, went for a contact, but didn't wait for anyone. After sitting in the bushes for about half an hour in vain, I went home, not understanding what happened. Mom was already home and didn't say anything to me. A few days later, when I was home alone, Kirhiton entered a mental contact with me and said that he saw someone was following me and that now we would have to change the contact location because the old place became known to other people. The new place was farther from home than the previous one, and I had to spend more time traveling there and back."
VOICE OF VIK:
"What time of day did the physical contacts occur?"
IRINA:
"The contacts happened in the evening, around 9-10 PM, twice a week, on the same days. They started in July 1999 and continued until about November, until the snow fell. Then Kirhiton told me to come for contact in the spring, when the snow melts, and the contacts resumed around April 2000. I didn't go to sleep until I went for the contact. If I felt unwell, for example, had a headache or a fever, I would take pills and still go for the contact, because that was my agreement with Kirhiton."
VOICE OF VIK (after a pause):
"Do you have any sleep problems? Do you have any chronic general illnesses – both physical and mental? What are your hobbies and interests? What genres of literature and film do you prefer?"
IRINA (sighs):
"1. No. 2. Of physical illnesses, I have kidney stone disease. I really hope I am mentally healthy, but the opposite, as you understand, cannot be ruled out. That's why I came to the forum, to figure out: were my past contacts real or is it all the fruit of a sick brain. Mom repeatedly took me to psychiatrists; I told them about the contacts, took tests, answered questions, etc. Some doctors told mom that it wasn't their field and that she needed to contact UFO specialists, while others said I was fantasizing and it would pass with age. But I know I'm not fantasizing, because I remember how it all happened to me. 3. I like to read, listen to music, dance, and solve crosswords. I prefer detective stories, especially ironic ones; I like psychological literature, medical books, microbiology, and chemistry. I like reading the Bible, especially the New Testament, but I don't adhere to any religion. I can also read science fiction: for example, books by Sergei Lukyanenko, Ivan Efremov, and Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. I don't like watching TV, I find reading books more interesting, but I like some movies: 'Stargate,' 'The Sure Thing,' 'The Healer,' etc."
Scene 2. First Attempts at Proof
VOICE OF CARIB (friendly, enthusiastic):
"1. As an option, a hypnosis session with an experienced specialist in a group of experienced ufologists. But are you sure you need it? If so, specialists from Ufocom or Kosmopoisk will help you. 2. You can recall these contacts with irony, as a pleasant journey that only a few Earthlings are privileged to have and which can only be envied that they had such an opportunity. 3. It would be interesting to know what was the goal of these contacts? Did you receive any knowledge, or were you just shown things and told things, like a tourist? 4. Which planets did you visit, what did you see? That's also interesting. 5. And then, when a person speaks out and is listened to by understanding people, it becomes much easier for them. 6. I have a good friend; many years ago, representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence would take her astral body every night, and she worked for them for several years as a researcher of various life forms on different planets. Then it stopped, and she tried to figure out the reality of these events. Naturally, nothing worked out; she accepted it and continues to live a normal life."
IRINA:
"1. When I was 14, my mom took me to a hypnotist. He tried to put me into hypnosis, but for some reason nothing worked. In the end, he refused to work with me. I need to find out if I am mentally healthy: if it turns out there were no contacts, but I remember them, then something is wrong with me, and I need a more thorough examination. 2. Kirhiton assured me that he has many contactees. Besides, he said that in our Galaxy there are over 700 planets with intelligent life, 116 of which are part of an 'interstellar union' (including the planet Daraal, where he is from). Of these 116 planets, according to him, 42 civilizations send their representatives to Earth and have their own contactees here. 3. The goal of the contacts is unclear to me. He said that the government of Daraal tasked him with finding contactees on Earth, to show them planets, tell them about space, and the laws of their world. At the same time, he was supposed to gather information about our customs and laws. On almost every contact, we visited a planet or moon, first in the Solar System, then in the Galaxy. On each, we would go out, if necessary, in protective suits, and look around. Kirhiton told me about the planet, describing its characteristics: size, mass, composition, etc. Besides that, he talked about his understanding of matter and energy, which only confused me because in school, in physics class, I learned something completely different. I tried to argue with him, but he said that with physical theories like ours, we would never discover the 'gravitational energy' on which his ship's engine is based. 4. We visited Daraal, the base on the far side of the Moon, all the planets of the Solar System, and about 20 planets in our Galaxy. We were also near the center of the Galaxy and saw it from the side."
VOICE OF CARIB:
"Ah, this again might prove the connection between different cases of contactees and their authenticity."
IRINA:
"So ask your friend how many civilizations there are in the Galaxy and whether she has heard of Kirhiton or the planet Daraal. Then we will see how much our data matches. Also ask her for the names of those she contacted and the name of their planet; maybe I've heard something about it."
VOICE OF CARIB (gently):
"Well, since the doctors didn't find any abnormalities, it means you are absolutely mentally healthy."
IRINA (bitterly):
"Then why couldn't I obtain a single proof of my contacts? Why didn't Kirhiton show himself to any of my acquaintances, even though they wanted that? Let me give you an example: in 2005, my friend, knowing about my situation, gave me a camera phone to take to the contact and asked me to photograph the aliens or their ship. I waited for the 'saucer' to arrive and took the phone out of my pocket. It was turned off, although a few minutes earlier everything was fine. When I got inside, I took out the phone again and asked Kirhiton to let me photograph him. He said that no electrical devices can work near his ship because his equipment disrupts their operation. He also said that taking any devices into space is unsafe, as they might break. After the contact, I turned on the phone without any problem, as soon as Kirhiton flew away. How do you explain that?"
VOICE OF CARIB (confidently):
"In ufology, it's a long-known fact that UFO beings are not yet allowing themselves to be revealed to the general public. I think, and I'm not alone, that this is because people are not sufficiently developed for this; perhaps it will happen in the future. And regarding the phone, it's simple: there is plenty of evidence that near a UFO, any human electronics and technology do not work, malfunction, turn off, but then when the UFO disappears, everything works again. Whether the UFO beings turn it off deliberately or it is the effect of their, some kind of, force fields is unknown, but the fact remains a fact..."
IRINA (defiantly):
"Well, fine. But could he, when we flew to another planet, step away with me, away from the ship, and let me take a photo? Or at least give me a lunar pebble as a souvenir; I'm not expecting anything more."
VOICE OF CARIB (philosophically):
"But what practical benefit do you need? It's more about increasing a person's spirituality and developing their worldview, because that's exactly what we lack, and that's why they don't make contact with earthlings and hide themselves. Imagine if their technology fell into the hands of terrorists, bandits, etc., etc... Humanity is not yet spiritual enough to accept them..."
IRINA (ironically):
"You reason just like Kirhiton. You're not his contactee, are you?"
Scene 3. Questions about Kirhiton
VOICE OF REY (interrogative tone):
"1. This Kirhiton – what gender is he? Male, female, or other? 2. Forbidden by whom specifically? 3. And at what level of 'erudition' did this Kirhiton speak? Like a plumber, an engineer, an academic? Well, in your opinion? I mean the style of speech, the use of obscure terms (after all, every profession has its own narrow professional 'quirks-slang')?"
IRINA:
"1. He introduced himself as a man. 2. The Interstellar Union and the government of Daraal. 3. He called himself an 'astrophysicist.' He tried to speak simply with me, and whenever he said a word I didn't understand, he always explained its meaning. By the way, I was always surprised by his good knowledge of the Russian language. He said he is the only one of the Daraalians who knows our language, because he specially prepared for contacts with representatives of our country."
VOICE OF VIK:
"Was there anyone in your social circle just before the first contact who was interested in psychology and the topic of extraterrestrial civilizations?"
IRINA:
"Mom had a friend who was interested in such topics. When I was about 12 (a year before the contact), she gave me a book to read: 'UFO: Trojan Horse.' I tried to read it, but didn't even make it halfway."
VOICE OF superpuper (interjects):
"The author isn't John Keel, by any chance? I read that book myself, and for some reason I feel like I've seen your story somewhere. It's as if it's ripped straight from the book."
IRINA (perplexed):
"Yes, John Keel. I'll download it now and see what that story is..."
Scene 4. The Impossibility of Proof
VOICE OF REY (harshly):
"And there's a third point.. Everyone looks for their own kind. And if a person asks questions and doubts, then the community of contactees is simply OBLIGED TO PROVE THE REALITY OF THE CONTACT. This story can never be confirmed or refuted until a time machine is invented and implemented."
IRINA (laughs bitterly):
"The contact will be proven only after a saucer lands in the contactee's garden and the neighbors see it."
VOICE OF valcan (thoughtfully):
"Regarding your cases of communication with them, I'll say this – maybe it all really happened. But since they left no traces (no implants, no disease cured or acquired, etc.), then no one will give you any reasonable answer – whether it happened or not."
VOICE OF REY (persistently):
"Cassie, just decide what you really want. You've taken off rather abruptly. As if you've gotten to a reference book. I can't say exactly what you need to do first. But perhaps for a start, take a short break and first think about everything that was discussed here?"
IRINA (firmly):
"I want to know the opinion of UFO specialists about whether my contacts are possible in principle or 100% impossible."
VOICE OF REY (giving in):
"I'm sorry, but I'll answer. For a simple reason: insufficient data to obtain reliable (at least more than 50%) conclusions."
IRINA (insists):
"What data is needed to obtain conclusions with 50% reliability?"
VOICE OF REY:
"Up to and including investigating landing sites, talking with an experienced psychologist, and much more. Specialists can explain it to you better. I can only, for certain reasons, advise you to simply continue living and consider the past as a romantic adventure or an interesting multi-episode dream. Besides, a diagnosis isn't made remotely – in every sense."
IRINA (defiantly):
"So you need a personal meeting?"
Scene 5. Linguistic Expertise
On the backdrop, pages of Irina's diary with the Daraal alphabet appear.
VOICE OF kudrik (triumphantly):
"What discovery! The language is Hebrew, and just a little bit of Yiddish. I entered Russian words from your diary into Google. Then translated into Hebrew-Yiddish. So far, I've found matches for 9 words. conversation – שיחה, law – געזעץ, knowledge – ידע, money – ממון, down – למטה, brain – מאַרך, science – מדע, human – אנוש, truth – האמת. Hebrew? Getting more and more interesting..."
IRINA (stunned):
"Hebrew? What does Hebrew have to do with Daraal?"
VOICE OF AG CONDOR (intelligently, inspired):
"I have familiarized myself with Cassie's linguistic notes. This is a real hit! Everything else is 'jazz standard,' but the linguistics is something original. Hebrew, Sanskrit... 'But' – 'tu' – a complete match with Sanskrit, where 'tu' has exactly that meaning. 'Word' – 'ark' – refers back there as well. You, Cassie, will perform a feat in the name of science. Ask Mr. Kirhiton if they know what grammar is, and if so, ask him to decline the word 'shimpomirt'."
IRINA (takes out diary, flips through):
"They do have cases. Similar to ours. Nominative – shimpomirt. Genitive – shimpomirtfa. Dative – shimpomirtel. Accusative – shimpomirtan. Instrumental – shimpomirtit. Prepositional – shimpomirtam."
VOICE OF AG CONDOR (almost reverently):
"FOR THE FIRST TIME in human history, thanks to you, we have obtained information on the grammatical structure of an alien language! It turns out that the Daraal language has the same noun declension paradigm as the Slavic languages. We are possibly relatives of the people from the Cassiopeia constellation."
IRINA (confused):
"Relatives? But externally, we don't look like Daraalians at all."
VOICE OF AG CONDOR:
"And is the order of the letters really similar to Russian, or did you arrange them like that for your convenience? Otherwise, three signs are taken from the Tibetan alphabet (Tibetan pa, ba, and ra), although the phonetic values do not match."
IRINA (thoughtfully):
"Hebrew, Sanskrit, Tibet... In any case, the traces of the Daraalians lead east. Then what do the Slavs have to do with it?"
Scene 6. Astronomical Inconsistencies
VOICE OF REY (mockingly):
"Strange. Pluto is 40 times farther from the Sun than Earth. Accordingly, the Sun there looks like a bright star."
IRINA (stubbornly):
"Before the flight to Pluto, I thought so too and was very surprised that the Sun is so large there. I was even more surprised that at such a distance it can shine so brightly."
VOICE OF CARIB (reconciliatory):
"According to Google, the Sun looks like this from Pluto – quite similar in size to a tangerine."
IRINA:
"There you go, very similar to the place we were... Only there was no rock to the right and Chiron (or whatever it is) wasn't hanging overhead."
VOICE OF PANGEA (worried):
"Check with Kirhiton today. Also about those discrepancies we discussed yesterday: Gamma Cassiopeia is 99 light-years away, but he claims it's 150; on Daraal you saw one sun, but Gamma Cassiopeia is a binary star system; the presence of sulfur concentrations in the atmosphere unacceptable for you, plus obvious increased radiation (the stars are young, very powerful)."
IRINA (tiredly):
"I've asked many times. He just repeats the same thing, like a parrot, that's all."
Scene 7. Experiments and Return to Contacts
VOICE OF kudrik (suggesting, almost conspiratorially):
"Money is evil. Try again. This time with your finger. Inconspicuously collect (with your finger) dust, in different places inside the aircraft cabin. Then wipe this dust (inconspicuously) onto a clean sheet of a notebook. Then this sheet can be given to scientists for microscopic analysis. You do take a notebook to the contacts. Your finger is always with you. Good luck!"
IRINA (interested):
"Good idea, thanks. And which scientists should I give the dust to and with what wording?"
VOICE OF kudrik:
"For the purpose of studying pollen spores (or mineral dust) of non-terrestrial etiology."
Change of light. Irina is in a different mood, more determined and at the same time more tired.
IRINA:
"I have resumed contacts. Kirhiton found a place on the outskirts of the city. Now I go on Tuesdays and Sundays. I conducted an experiment: I took a tube of superglue and during a moment of weightlessness squeezed it out in the cabin, so that it would harden into a ball and I could take that ball with me. But as soon as I squeezed out the glue, it took an oval shape and floated towards the wall, where it smeared. Small bubbles started flying around the cabin, the smell became simply unbearable. Kirhiton didn't even scold me for this; he stood beside me and urged me to close my eyes so that glue drops wouldn't get into them. Because of me, he had to fly to the lunar base and change all the air in the ship, and then he brought me back. He said that to study the properties of a liquid in weightlessness, it's better to use water, and that you can be poisoned by glue fumes."
On the backdrop, a photo of a sheet of paper with a message appears.
IRINA:
"He wrote with his own hand: 'Gokhep gopneishti edusorditi Bellenfa. Foponol khu tulou leo tumtelasnol thuoit ptuyt.' Translation: 'Hello, people living on Earth. Be at peace and use your minds.'"
VOICE OF REY (sarcastically):
"This text was not written by the hand of a person who knows this language and writes it fluently. The letters vary in height. Many signs in the message are logically meaningless to depict as larger than the others. This resembles unsuccessful attempts to copy unknown symbols."
VOICE OF kudrik (confidently):
"The message was written by your hand."
IRINA (indignantly):
"Thank you for your opinion, but I didn't write it, as far as I remember, of course."
Scene 8. Regressive Hypnosis and Medical Examinations
VOICE OF REY (suspiciously):
"And you sent money to this specialist via email for the service, I hope?"
IRINA:
"No, she did it for free. She introduced me into a deep trance and asked questions. I remembered everything I told you earlier and even more details. She came to the conclusion that I had no fantasies or false memories, and that all the events that happened to me happened in reality."
VOICE OF PANGEA (worried):
"I watched the video of your mental contact. Something between an epileptic seizure and the state of a patient during electroshock therapy."
IRINA (defensively):
"I had an electroencephalogram done, including during the contact. Epilepsy was not confirmed. The doctors said it was a state of altered consciousness, something like a trance. But they couldn't determine the type of trance."
VOICE OF ROBINSON (persistently):
"Did you go to free doctors at the psychiatric hospital? Why not go to a psychiatric hospital in your place? I would have myself examined by a psychiatrist if I started hearing voices in my head or having 'visions.' One shouldn't postpone such things."
IRINA (calmly, but firmly):
"Mom put me in a psychiatric hospital when I was 14. I received no help there in stopping the contacts. On the contrary, I entered mental contacts there more often than at home, to ask Kirhiton questions from the doctors and convey his answers to them. The doctors repeatedly asked me to enter a mental contact in their presence, asking Kirhiton questions through me. The result: I was discharged after a month, and they told mom that it wasn't their case. The doctors advised her in her presence to take me to ufologists; they were interested in what they would say. Mom accused them of incompetence, and the doctors told her to take me out of the hospital."
VOICE OF ROBINSON (suspiciously):
"I don't know a single psychiatrist who would advise that. This is a lie."
IRINA:
"So a psychiatrist was obliged to diagnose me solely based on stories and mental contacts? Closing his eyes to the fact that I can enter contacts voluntarily, that I have no personality changes, that all tests are normal?"
Scene 9. Climax: The Judgment of the Forum
VOICE OF REY (summarizing, harshly):
"1. In your case, there is nothing that would interest ufologists. 2. We have no documentary evidence of the absence of mental illness. You cannot present material evidence of contact. Your information contradicts the fundamentals of physics, chemistry, and astronomy. There is no reason whatsoever to consider the contact real. 3. What else is unclear? You essentially walked into a surgeon's office and asked to have a tooth pulled. We've been explaining to you that we don't pull teeth! We remove appendices! We're not dentists. GO TO A DENTIST! 4. What can you show us in terms of documents or physical evidence?"
IRINA (quietly, but firmly):
"Nothing, until the ufologists draw their conclusions."
VOICE OF VIK (calmly, but harshly):
"So, you just need to hear this from someone who considers themselves a ufologist? I don't want to disappoint you, but in your case, only two answers are possible: 1) the contact is a product of your imagination, 2) the nature of the contact cannot be determined. If anyone claims the contact is real, let me know, I'll put them in the category of ufoholics."
A red notification appears on the backdrop: "Topic temporarily closed."
VOICE OF ROBINSON (draws a line):
"Well, here we are. The topic has completely exhausted itself. You, Irina, once again (as always!) through cunning evasions and excuses, have avoided the opportunity to objectively verify your claims. This was predictable. There is no point in continuing this whole senseless rigmarole, forgive me. The topic is temporarily closed."
IRINA (alone on stage, speaking to the semi-dark hall):
"If it turns out that I wasn't in contact, then I will go to a psychiatrist and undergo a thorough examination, because if to this day I cannot distinguish hallucinatory images from reality, then this needs to be treated. Otherwise, it might get worse, and all these flights might turn out to be just flowers. Mom put me in a psychiatric hospital at 14. The doctors discharged me and said: 'This is not our case, go to ufologists.' I came to you. And you... You are just people who also know nothing. But for some reason, you are confident that you have the right to judge."
Pause. The light goes out. Only a small spotlight on Irina's face.
"If you tell me that contact is 100% impossible, I will turn to the doctors again. Because you can't joke with a sick psyche. Do you hear me?"
Silence. The light goes out completely.
Scene 10. Epilogue (2021–2026)
The light comes on brightly, unnaturally, golden. The stage has transformed: on the left side – a studio chair, professional camera, microphone. IRINA – in a black dress, with perfect hair, confident. On the backdrop – YouTube channel 'Cassiopeia,' subscriber counter: 250,000, logo 'Cassiopeia Center.'
VOICE OF ROBINSON (accusingly, from a screen):
"You and Maxim organized a business under the brand 'Cassiopeia.' You have 250 thousand subscribers, 900 video recordings of sessions. This was a planned hoax."
IRINA (calmly, with dignity):
"Vladimir Kukolnikov called me himself in January 2019 and asked permission to show my story on REN TV. He said Igor Prokopenko was interested. I agreed. In March 2019, a program aired where Kukolnikov said that, judging by the MRI, I had no brain abnormalities, and the host talked about the chip and flights to planets. Then people from the TVC channel contacted me, came to film material at my home. The cameraman from Voronezh introduced me to Maxim. In August 2019, I moved to Voronezh to create the 'Cassiopeia' project. Kukolnikov was aware and wrote that he was pleased with the changes happening to me, including meeting Maxim. He also watched the program with her on Malakhov's show and congratulated me, writing that I told everything well and behaved with dignity. If he didn't believe – why did he do it?"
Pause.
VOICE OF ROBINSON:
"Go live, so that you can be seen clearly, and with your closed eyes, contact your smartest 'alien.' We will ask questions and problems. For a truly higher intelligence, something like fast multiplication or division of numbers would not be difficult. The simplest test."
IRINA (firmly, with a slight smirk):
"No alien will multiply numbers through me. Your suggestion is ridiculous for any contactee. My curators have already responded to such suggestions: they suggested that people themselves take a calculator and calculate whatever they want. I have been told many times that they will not provide any proof of their presence because these proofs are completely meaningless for people who do not want to go inside themselves and seek there the proof of the information they are giving through me. They expect that proof will be brought to them on a silver platter, but that's not how it works. I don't force anyone to believe me; on the contrary, I say: if the information coming through me doesn't resonate with you, then listen only to yourself. This is your life, and you are responsible for it. Neither I nor the aliens will live it for you."
Scene 11. Final Monologue
Irina stands up, walks to the edge of the stage, speaks into the audience.
IRINA (quietly, but distinctly):
"I communicated with the spirit of Vladimir Kukolnikov after his death. I went to him in the spiritual world with the permission of the angels guarding the border between the astral and the world of disembodied spirits. I wanted to know how he was feeling and to express my gratitude to him."
Pause. She returns to the chair, looks into the camera.
"Kirhiton warned me from the very beginning: 'No proof of contact will be provided.' Now I understand why. The real proofs are not in stones or numbers. They are inside. In your heart. In your faith. And you... You can continue sitting on your forums, demanding certificates and analyses. But the world has changed. And we – we changed it together with Kirhiton."
The light begins to flicker. Behind her, in the depth of the stage, the silhouette of a three-meter-tall figure with three eyes – KIRHITON – appears for a second. He puts his hand on her shoulder. Irina does not turn around – she knows he is there.
"And now... the next session. Today, we are connecting with the planet Daraal."
The light goes out.
Final words from the first essay
On a black screen, white text appears, read by the voice of the essay's author (or an off-screen announcer):
"The Cassie we see on the forum is a person desperately trying to reconcile her inner world with the outer one.
Irina Podzorova, the leader of the 'Cassiopeia' project in 2026, is a person who has accepted her inner world as the only possible reality and built an external, collective one around it.
The Ufocomm forum became that 'purgatory' through which her story lost its connection to the world of 'proof,' but gained immortality in the world of 'meaning.'"
On the backdrop – the YouTube counter, numbers quickly rising: 250,000... 251,000... 252,000... 257,000... The sound of new subscriber notifications overlaps, turning into noise, into a hum, into a roar.
TITLES. Against the background of the titles – real headlines from forums and photos of Irina from YouTube:
"I went into outer space with Kirhiton" – from Irina's diary, 1999.
"Cassiopeia Center announces enrollment for the next course 'Contactee School'" – from the official website.
"The total volume of transcribed sessions amounted to 22 novels of 'War and Peace'" – from an unofficial blog.
Music – heavy electronic ambient – transitions into a children's lullaby sung by a synthesized voice, similar to Kirhiton's voice.
CURTAIN.
