A lecture by extraterrestrial psychologist MidgasKaus (planet Esler, 2023) and its comparison with neuroscience data as of May 2026
February 2, 2023 — April 2024 (publication)
FOREWORD: CHRONICLES OF CONTACT
The session was conducted in a question-and-answer format, covering meditative practices, the nature of consciousness, free will, karmic mechanisms, and the spiritual evolution of humanity. The text is published with minimal editorial changes to preserve the style of spoken speech.
ON THE ROLE OF THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM
An important methodological note should be made. This transcript, the analytical first-person retelling of the lecture, and the subsequent research essay were prepared with the participation of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system, serving as an analytical filter and information structurer.
The role of AI in this project is as follows:
Technical Transcription — converting spoken spontaneous speech into structured written text while preserving semantic accents.
Comparative Analysis — comparing MidgasKaus's statements with data from Earthly science as of May 2026. The AI functions as an aggregator and verifier of information but does not act as an arbiter of the truth of the statements made.
Narrative Structuring — organizing the material into logically connected sections for ease of perception and analysis.
Interdisciplinary Synthesis — identifying points of intersection between the stated extraterrestrial perspective and modern scientific paradigms in neuroscience, consciousness psychology, the philosophy of free will, and cultural anthropology.
Important Warning. Artificial intelligence does not possess the criteria for making a final judgment about the reality or illusoriness of the claimed contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. The AI's task is to provide the most complete and systematized information for the reader's independent judgment. The following text should be perceived as a presentation of MidgasKaus's position in direct speech, where indicated, and as analytical commentary in other sections.
PART I. LECTURE BY MIDGASKAUS IN FIRST PERSON
(Transcript and adaptation of the Q&A session)
Introduction: Meditation as a Technical Communication Channel
Greetings, Earthly souls. My name is MidgasKaus. From the planet Esler, I study the biology and psychology of different life forms. Today we will talk about what you call meditation. But let's look at it not as an esoteric ritual or a way to relax, but as a precise, almost surgical tool for working with consciousness.
Let me state the main point right away: meditation, in the sense it was given to humanity, is not relaxation with music or concentration on abstract images. In a broad sense, any internal work of consciousness upon itself can be called meditation. But the true, ancient practice is what in Sanskrit is called "dhyana": looking inside oneself, self-contemplation.
This practice was given to people in very ancient times, when humanity was just emerging on Earth. The source of this transmission is not some extraterrestrial civilization, as you might think, but your own Spiritual World. More precisely, that part of your Spirit which you call the Higher Self. The unincarnated part of the Spirit sends to its incarnated part, located in the physical body, the practices needed for direct communication with it.
Therefore, consider meditation as a technical means of communication. Your physical body is a temporary spacesuit for working in dense matter. And meditation is a way to tune the receiver and hear the one inside this spacesuit, and the one directing the mission from the Control Center — from the Spiritual World.
Chapter 1. The Visualization Error: Why "Just Wanting" Is Not Enough
I am often asked about visualization — the practice where a person imagines their desired future, literally "drawing" it with their inner eye. Many Earthly teachers claim that it's enough to vividly imagine a happy life, and it will materialize by itself.
From the perspective of the physics of your subtle world, this doesn't work quite that way, or rather, it does work, but only under certain conditions.
First, the visualization process is entirely induced, initiated, and controlled by the imagination. Imagination is the mind's ability to be creative, to create images and ideas. When a person imagines their desired future, they fill these images with their life energy — but only if they truly believe in the attainability of that future. Without faith, visualization remains just a "cartoon" in the head.
The visualized image is preserved in the Spiritual World — more specifically, in that person's mental field. And this image begins to influence the Time Tape, bringing closer the materialization of the future scenario the person imagined. This mechanism is accurately revealed in your sacred texts: "According to your faith, let it be done to you."
Why is this "according to your faith" so important? Because faith is not just agreement with some statement. Faith is the feeling that something invisible, non-existent in the physical world, already exists. Faith changes a person's perception, changes their will. And they begin to see opportunities that were previously hidden from them — opportunities to realize the plan they dreamed of.
Furthermore — and this is very important — the images of your dreams are visible to your curators from the Spiritual World: Guardian Angels, Consultant Angels. If these dreams lead a person towards the Light, towards enlightenment, towards the realization of their incarnation tasks, then their curators will create events for them that allow them to achieve what they desire.
That is, visualization is an open way to declare to the Universe: "I want this future."
But here lies the biggest mistake of Earthly practitioners. Wanting is very important for achieving a result, but wanting is only the first step. Besides desires, visualizations, and fantasies, there must be real actions. I observe many people who visualize mountains of gold and an ideal life for hours but do not take a single step to move forward. In such a case, visualization becomes not a tool of creation, but a way to escape from reality.
There are people who themselves do not know what kind of future they want and for what purpose. It is useful for them to learn to dream. Ask themselves: "What do I want? How do I see my future?" This will allow them to mobilize willpower and the life force of the etheric field to realize their desires. But when you have defined your goal — act. Otherwise, your dream will remain just a pretty picture on the wall of your mind.
Chapter 2. How to Distinguish Light from Darkness? Compare with the Mission Map
The next important question: how can a person not make a mistake in their desires? How to distinguish desires that lead to spiritual awakening from desires that lead to degradation?
Different Earthly spiritual traditions speak of this differently, but the essence is the same. I will give you a practical criterion. To distinguish one from the other, you first need to know the purpose of your incarnation. And then compare each desire with this purpose. Does this desire serve my task? Or is it only about food, sleep, pleasures, power, reproduction?
Let me explain in more detail. A person is simultaneously a physical and a spiritual being. They have physical needs and spiritual needs. Physical desires reflect the body's needs — for water, food, sleep, air, procreation. These desires themselves are not bad. What is bad is what happens when they completely replace spiritual desires. If a person lives only as a complex mechanism for satisfying instincts — self-preservation, reproduction, power, herd mentality, pleasures — and at the same time does not move towards realizing their spiritual task, they inevitably degrade. Their vibrations lower.
And here the mechanism you call "life's lessons" comes into play. When a person ignores their spiritual needs, their mentors from the Spiritual World begin to create life conditions and send people their way who will prompt them to remember their task. This is the process of learning lessons in the material world. Pain, suffering, crises — these are not punishment. They are signal fires on the path, warning: "You have strayed from the course."
The problem is that a person forms powerful neural chains of habits. Their brain has ready-made automatic behavior patterns for any standard situation. And when the moment comes to change something, the self-preservation instinct kicks in — it seeks to maintain the previous way of life, even if that way of life leads to a dead end. This is why starting the spiritual path is often so difficult.
Imagine a person who has dedicated a third of their life solely to physical needs: working to feed the body, starting a family to fulfill the need for procreation. And suddenly they realize they have a spiritual need — for example, to know the world, to develop Love, to experience the joy of creativity. And they don't understand how to combine this with their habitual way of life.
And this is where meditation comes to the rescue. Meditation helps to calm the mind — that very thinking where different information is constantly processed, including from memory. What does "calm the mind" mean? It means to make it not a "stormy sea," where waves of thoughts about completely extraneous things constantly arise, but a "smooth watery mirror." In this mirror, a person begins to see the reflection of their true needs, including their spiritual tasks.
The answer from the Spiritual World, from the Higher Self, comes only in mental silence. And meditation, body relaxation, breathing exercises — all these are auxiliary methods for a person to become accustomed to the state of self-contemplation.
Chapter 3. The "Transparency" Technique: How to Stop the Inner Dialogue
Now about the most important practical question: how exactly to calm the mind? How to turn the "stormy sea" into a "mirror surface"? After all, thoughts come on their own, regardless of your desire. You close your eyes, try to concentrate, and in your head is a kaleidoscope: "what happened this morning," "what I didn't have time to do," "what will happen tomorrow"...
I will explain the mechanism. The human mind consists of three main components: thinking, imagination, and memory. Thinking is the source of consciousness energy. It is thinking that allows you to perceive the surrounding reality through your senses. It is thinking that gives you the feeling of "I am" and "I am different from others."
When you want to meditate, you redirect the energy of consciousness into the inner world. In simple terms, you gather the single energy, which is usually divided into two streams — consciousness (directed at the external world) and self-consciousness (directed at the feeling of self) — into the stream of self-consciousness. You distract yourself from the material world. This is the first step.
When a person closes their eyes and begins to listen to themselves, they can concentrate so much that they stop feeling their body — the position of arms, legs, even stop hearing sounds. This is a good sign. It means that the energy of consciousness is indeed redirected inward.
But at this stage, thoughts begin to surface — involuntary thoughts, from memory or from the intuitive channel. They come on their own. And the main thing to understand is: you cannot forbid thoughts from coming. But you can change your attitude towards them.
Here is the key technique: when a thought comes, you do not continue to follow it. You do not ponder why it came. You do not analyze it, push it away, or fight it. You simply allow it to pass through you and go back.
On the planet Esler, we call this state "transparency." You become like glass, transparent to the light of the Sun. The glass does not detain the light, does not try to fight it — it simply lets it through. So it is with you: the thought came, and it went. You do not cling to it, do not develop it, do not evaluate it.
I repeat the most important part: to calm a thought is not to chase it away. It is to allow it to leave naturally, without creating new waves through your resistance or involvement.
And then silence comes.
Chapter 4. Freedom of Choice: The Main Difference Between Human and Animal
This brings us to one of the most fundamental questions of human existence. Scientists on your Earth conduct experiments and declare: "Free choice is an illusion. The brain reacts to a stimulus before the person has time to decide anything. We are just biological automatons."
From the perspective of multidimensional psychology, these scientists have made a gross error in interpretation. They confused the presence of unconscious processes with the absence of free choice. And they misunderstood where exactly the choosing center is located in a human.
Let me explain from the beginning. Free will is the ability of the energy of will to perform a specific action. The immediate moment of directing the will towards action is called "choice." "Free choice" means that the decision of where to direct one's will-energy is made by the personality, the entity that possesses this will-energy. This choice is not imposed from outside nor strictly programmed into the mechanisms of the brain.
The Spirit itself, which is in the body, completely freely (i.e., without coercion from other beings) chooses one impulse from the multitude of impulses leading it to one behavior or another.
You know from your own experience that you can have two or even more desires simultaneously. And no one — except the Absolute — knows in advance which choice you will make. Even you yourself may be surprised by your own decision. But you make the choice, not someone else for you.
Who makes the choice in a human? The choice is made by the mind, more precisely, by its component called thinking. Thinking possesses not only the function of information processing but also the function of decision-making. Desires arise in the spiritual heart (that's why in Russian it's said: "you can't command the heart"), but the mind, although it cannot command the heart, can choose which desire to fulfill right now, and which to postpone or reject forever.
It is precisely this ability — to suppress an immediate "I want" for a long-term "I need" — that makes you human.
Animals do not have such a choice. They have instinctive reason. An animal always follows the instinct that is strongest at that moment. Animals lack abstract thinking — that is, thinking detached from the body, from their immediate habitat. Therefore, animals have no freedom of choice, and consequently, they have no karmic responsibility. Intelligent beings — humans who control or influence these animals — are responsible for the actions of animals.
If a person has accumulated negative karma, it will attract them to a certain level of the Spiritual World after death. If the level is low, they will feel dissatisfaction and will want to incarnate again to undergo the lessons anew. Animals' cycles of incarnation do not depend on their behavior during life. They are determined by the subtle-material civilizations of the planets.
So, when you are told that free will is an illusion, know that those who say so simply do not understand the difference between instinctive reaction and conscious choice. Or — they do not want to take responsibility for their actions.
Chapter 5. Collective Meditation and the Trap of "False Light"
Now let me move on to practical questions of organizing spiritual work. What is more effective: meditating alone or in a group?
Collective meditation works according to the law of resonance. When many people think simultaneously about one topic or perform one practice, they create a common spiritual space. The vibrations of this common space amplify the spiritual sensations of each participant. A person who has just begun the spiritual path and hasn't yet learned to feel their inner Light well will find it easier to enter the right state in collective meditation, because the space itself helps their aura resonate with that state.
Individual meditation also works and is necessary for deepening the practice. But if a person already knows how to enter the state of inner Light alone, then in a group they will be able to do it even more easily and deeply — again, due to resonance.
Now about an important danger you asked about. Many practitioners report that at some point they realized: "the spiritual state I was experiencing wasn't quite real, perhaps it was an illusion, fueled by imagination or self-suggestion." How not to be deceived? How to distinguish true Light from false?
I will answer this way: contact with the Absolute, with God within oneself, is experienced by each at their own level — at the level of vibrations they are ready for at that moment. If a person has cleansed their spiritual heart, harmonized their chakras, removed blocks, they can feel the same Light completely differently — deeper, brighter, fuller. But this does not mean that the previous, weaker experience was "illusory." It was real, just incomplete.
Do not fall into the extreme where you begin to devalue your previous achievements just because you feel more now. That is a path to eternal dissatisfaction with oneself.
True Light differs from false not in the strength or brightness of the experience, but in its consequences. After contact with true Light, you become calmer, kinder, more tolerant of yourself and others. Your heart fills with unconditional love. False Light — or rather, the state you mistakenly take for Light — leads to increased pride. You begin to think: "I have achieved, I am special, I am above others." If after meditation you feel superiority — know that you have dealt not with the Absolute, but with your own ego, inflated to cosmic proportions.
Be honest with yourself. That is the main criterion.
Chapter 6. The Physiology of Spiritual Experience: Why Exstasy is Followed by a Downturn
You also asked about a phenomenon well known to many practitioners: after a deep experience of the Light, after a state of bliss and expanded consciousness, a period of decline sets in — depression, apathy, a feeling of emptiness. People get scared of this, think they have "lost grace" or that something is wrong with them.
I will answer this as a biologist studying the interconnection of Spirit and body.
When the Soul reaches a high spiritual state, certain biochemical changes occur in the physical body. Substances you call "pleasure hormones" are released — endorphins, serotonin, dopamine, and others. They are not meant to make you feel pleasant. They perform an important physiological function: they renew and harmonize the body's cells, boost immunity, and cleanse toxins.
But the supply of these substances is not infinite. When they are used up for "repair work" in the body, a recovery phase begins. And the person's normal state, returned to baseline, seems to them like despondency and depression only in contrast to the high state they just experienced. It is like stepping out of a brightly lit room into twilight — it seems to have become completely dark, although in reality, the eyes are just adjusting to a different level of light.
Do not worry. Do not blame yourself for a lack of spirituality. Stay calm, remember the experienced Light, do not try to artificially "bring it back" by willpower, and allow the body to recover naturally. If you are calm and do not lower your vibrations with doubts and self-flagellation, you will definitely enter this state again — more enduringly and more fully.
Accept yourself as you are, including your "downturns." This is temporary. This is just the physiology of your wonderful, but imperfect, physical spacesuit.
Chapter 7. About the End of the World, Fear, and Collective Aggression
You asked me about the global — about the fate of humanity. Your prophets and media constantly frighten you with the end of the world, a global catastrophe, the demise of civilization. Is humanity truly on the verge of destruction? And if not, what will help it emerge from the crisis?
I will answer directly. At the present moment, humanity is not on the path to its physical demise. The probability of mass extinction is not high. There are, of course, collective choices of some peoples that have made this outcome more likely than a few years ago — but it is still not the dominant scenario.
However, there is another danger, more real than an external catastrophe. It is the danger of collective neurosis. The aggression of some people breeds fear not only in others, but also in the aggressors themselves. Fear is a natural emotion, designed to protect from danger. But when fear becomes a background state, it begins to distort the perception of reality.
I explain the mechanism. When a person feels aggression (their own or someone else's), their brain, their instinctive part, concludes: "I live in a dangerous world." And it awakens fears — to protect the body, to keep the self-preservation instinct working at maximum. Aggression and fear feed each other. The aggressor is afraid, and their aggression is a reaction to fear. The victim feels the aggression and gets even more frightened.
What should a specific person do when finding themselves in such an environment? First — stop thinking of themselves as a victim of circumstances. Second — take responsibility for creating their own reality into their own hands. This does not mean you can cancel a war by the power of thought. It means you can change your internal state — and thereby change your contribution to the collective reality.
It is necessary to move to a new level of thinking. To realize oneself as Divine consciousness, which itself creates its own reality. If you realize this, it will be easier for you to let go of fear and aggression as no longer relevant emotions for you. You will be able to fill yourself with faith, Love, hope, even in the most terrible circumstances — even when the self-preservation instinct screams danger at you.
Conduct this experiment. When a thought-fear comes: "My body might perish," — place this thought before you. Ask it: "Fear that you brought me, can it really protect me from weapons? Can it cancel a bullet? Can it save my body?" Naturally, no. Fear cannot protect you from death. It only lowers your vibrations, making you forget that you are an immortal Spirit and identify yourself with the body.
Therefore, the most important thing you can do for yourself and for others is to maintain your inner Light. To be a "lighthouse" of calm. Seeing you, other people will feel that another way of responding to threat is possible — not panic and aggression, but calm acceptance and love even for those you consider enemies.
This is not weakness. This is the highest strength.
Chapter 8. Unconditional Love and the Rush that Kills the Flower
In conclusion, allow me to speak about two things that seem opposite but actually complement each other: about unconditional Love and about the harm of rushing on the spiritual path.
There are many forms of love on Earth. But all of them are merely manifestations of one eternal, absolute Love. The problem is that most people practice only egoistic love — love for pleasant things, for convenient people, for relatives and friends, as long as they meet expectations.
What is unconditional Love? It is a feeling of unity regardless of conditions. It is the ability to love a person even when they violate your expectations, when they act wrongly from your point of view, even when they cause you pain. Unconditional Love does not require the object of love to be "good" in your understanding. It simply is.
An important clarification: unconditional Love does not mean you have to do everything for another person, that you must tolerate violence or encourage degradation. Helping does not mean doing for another. Helping means co-acting, accompanying. If you do for another what they should do themselves, you are not showing love. You are showing irresponsibility and contributing to their laziness, infantilism, and ultimately — degradation.
Love is respect for another person's path, even if that path includes their own mistakes and pain.
And lastly — about rushing. Many earthly teachers rush their students: "Faster, awaken faster! There is little time! You must achieve enlightenment in this life!"
I tell you: rushing on the spiritual path is not just useless — it is dangerous.
Why? Because rushing breeds anxiety and fear. The fear of "not being in time" causes a release of stress hormones. And these hormones block the release of those substances that allow one to enter a quiet, contemplative state — the very state necessary for true meditation and for the unfolding of spiritual Light.
Imagine that your inner Light is a beautiful flower, closed in a bud. If you begin to forcefully tear open the petals because you "can't wait to see the flower," you will kill it. It will wither without opening, or will open uglily and painfully.
Spiritual Light requires patience. Requires respect. Requires Love — including love for your own pace of growth.
Do not compare yourself to your neighbor on the meditation mat. Do not berate yourself for not "succeeding" as quickly as others. Ask your Higher Self: "What exactly do I need to do?" And trust the answer.
Each flower blooms in its own time.
MidgasKaus's Farewell
Dear divine Souls! Remember: you are Light. The Light of Unconditional Love. Hold this awareness always with you as a background. Against this luminous background, any dark spots — fears, resentments, aggressive thoughts coming from outside or from your own subconscious — will be visible to you as alien formations. Do not fight them. Fighting feeds the darkness. Simply send your Light to these spots. And they will dissolve.
Remember that the space where you live is filled with Divine Light. It is just manifested to you in the form of physical matter. Remember that your physical bodies are given to you temporarily — to fulfill your task. Remember that the tasks of your life lie beyond its boundaries.
I send you the Light of my Love.
PART II. RESEARCH ESSAY
Comparative analysis of MidgasKaus's teachings with data from Earthly science (May 2026)
Methodological Framework
This study represents an interdisciplinary analysis of statements made by MidgasKaus during the session on February 2, 2023. For each thematic area, we compare the extraterrestrial psychologist's position with current data from Earthly science as of May 2026. The aim of the analysis is to identify points of convergence, divergence, and fundamentally new propositions that science cannot yet confirm or refute.
The study is based on the premise that the contact with MidgasKaus is real, and his statements represent reliable information from a source possessing a more advanced understanding of the nature of consciousness than contemporary Earthly science. However, the reader is free to draw their own conclusions about the status of this information.
The essay sections are organized thematically, corresponding to the structure of the lecture.
Section 1. Neuroscience of Meditation: Science Confirms, but Explains Differently
MidgasKaus's Position. Meditation is not just relaxation, but a purposeful internal work of consciousness. It allows one to calm the "stormy sea" of thinking, to make the mind a "smooth mirror" reflecting true spiritual tasks. Meditation was given to humanity by the Higher Self for communication with the Spiritual World.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). Research in the neuroscience of meditation has made significant progress by 2025-2026. Systematic reviews confirm that mindfulness practice induces structural and functional changes in the brain — a phenomenon known as neuroplasticity. Specifically, changes are observed in the connectivity within the Default Mode Network (DMN) — a network active when the mind wanders, engaged in self-referential thoughts and "inner dialogue." Reduced DMN activity correlates with the subjective experience of "mental silence."
Earthly science explains meditation's effects through neuroplasticity mechanisms: regular practice trains specific neural circuits, enhancing their efficiency and weakening others. Changes in connections between brain regions (prefrontal cortex, insula, anterior cingulate cortex) correlate with improved emotional regulation, reduced stress reactivity, and increased subjective well-being.
Comparative Analysis. In describing the phenomenon ("mental silence," reduced inner dialogue), MidgasKaus and Earthly science agree. Neuroimaging studies indeed show that experienced meditators have reduced DMN activity and an increased ability to quickly exit mind-wandering states. This corresponds to the metaphor of a "smooth mirror" instead of a "stormy sea."
The divergence begins in the interpretation of this phenomenon. Earthly science explains the changes solely through neurobiological mechanisms — training neural networks. MidgasKaus asserts that meditation opens a communication channel with the Higher Self and the Spiritual World, and "mental silence" is a necessary condition for receiving information from this source.
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The concept of meditation as a technical communication channel with the unincarnated part of the Spirit is absent from the Earthly scientific paradigm. Science does not operate with concepts like "Higher Self" or "Spiritual World" as explanatory constructs.
Verification Status. The neural correlates of meditation are well-studied. However, whether these changes are a sufficient explanation of the phenomenon or merely accompany interaction with non-material levels of reality lies beyond the competence of modern science. This is a metaphysical question that the scientific method can neither confirm nor refute.
Section 2. Visualization: Between the "Law of Attraction" and Neuroplasticity
MidgasKaus's Position. Visualization is a tool, not a magic wand. Images created by imagination and filled with faith are preserved in a person's mental field and influence the Time Tape, bringing the materialization of the desired future closer. However, visualization is effective only when combined with real actions. Furthermore, the images are visible to curators from the Spiritual World, who can create favorable events.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). By 2025-2026, research on visualization (mental rehearsal, manifestation) has seen new development. Professor James Doty of Stanford, in his work "The Magic of Consciousness," describes how combining meditation with repeated affirmations changes the subconscious through neuroplasticity. Mental images activate the selective attention system, helping the brain assign importance to an intention — a phenomenon called "value tagging."
However, scientists emphasize: positive thinking alone is insufficient. Belief in achieving a goal based on real efforts and circumstances is crucial. Psychology professor Gabriele Oettingen, known for her research on motivation, shows that visualizing a desired outcome alone, without considering obstacles and without real action, can even reduce motivation and the likelihood of success.
Comparative Analysis. Here we see a remarkable convergence between MidgasKaus's key statement and the findings of Earthly science: "wanting is very important for achieving a result, but it is not enough." MidgasKaus explicitly says: "Besides desires, visualizations, and fantasies, there must be real actions." Earthly research confirms this.
The difference lies in how the mechanism of visualization's influence is explained. Science speaks of neuroplasticity and self-programming. MidgasKaus speaks of mental fields, the Time Tape, and "messaging" the curators.
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The concept of curators (Guardian Angels) who see visualized images and can create events facilitating their realization is entirely outside the scientific paradigm. Earthly science has no tools to detect or refute the existence of such entities.
Verification Status. The effectiveness of visualization as a technique for motivation and focus is confirmed. The question of the existence of "mental fields" and the possibility of direct influence of thought on matter (without the mediation of physical actions) is the subject of research into psi-phenomena, which remain controversial and non-reproducible in strict laboratory conditions.
Section 3. Free Will: From Determinism to a Gradual Model
MidgasKaus's Position. Free choice is real. Its source is the mind (thinking) of the human as a Spirit incarnated in a body. Choice is the ability to select one impulse from a multitude, including the ability to suppress an immediate "I want" for a long-term "I need." Animals do not have free choice (they have instinctive reason), therefore they have no karma.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). By 2025-2026, a significant shift has occurred in the free will debate. Professor Emeritus Eric Kerkhofs (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) in his doctoral dissertation conducted an interdisciplinary analysis of the problem and concluded that the famous Libet experiment (demonstrating that brain activity precedes conscious decision) was misinterpreted.
Kerkhofs argues: the Libet experiment speaks to spontaneous movements, not conscious, deliberated choices. Unconscious processes indeed play a larger role than previously thought, but this does not negate free will. Rather, we should speak of gradual free will — as an ability that exists in degrees and can be developed. The more control we exercise over our thoughts, movements, and actions, the more freedom we acquire.
Kerkhofs suggests using the term "personal autonomy" instead of "free will" and argues that self-control can be trained like a muscle.
Comparative Analysis. This is one of the most interesting sections regarding convergence. MidgasKaus says: "Thinking possesses the function of decision-making," "free choice implies responsibility." Earthly science (Kerkhofs et al.) arrives at a gradual model of free will very close to MidgasKaus's description.
Furthermore, MidgasKaus's concept that animals lack free choice and act based on "instinctive reason" aligns with ethological and neurobiological data. Animals indeed demonstrate more stereotypical, instinct-drive behavior with less involvement of cortical mechanisms associated with planning and abstract thinking.
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The direct link between free will and the absence of karma in animals is a theological statement that science can neither confirm nor refute. Also, the concept that free choice is a property not of neural networks but of the Spirit within the body lies outside the scientific paradigm.
Verification Status. The gradual model of free will, developed by Kerkhofs and other researchers, represents the scientific consensus in this field as of 2026. However, whether free will is an epiphenomenon of neural activity or has a transcendent source remains a philosophical, not a scientific, question.
Section 4. Unconditional Love: Neuroscience of Attachment and Egoistic vs. Altruistic Love
MidgasKaus's Position. Egoistic love (love for those who meet expectations) yields partial happiness. Unconditional love (love regardless of conditions) leads to complete happiness and union with the Absolute. Unconditional love does not mean doing everything for another — that would contribute to their degradation.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). By 2025-2026, the neuroscience of love has advanced in understanding different types of attachment. Research shows that different forms of love (romantic, parental, friendly, altruistic) activate various, though overlapping, neural networks — including areas related to reward (nucleus accumbens), empathy (insula, anterior cingulate cortex), and the oxytocinergic system.
However, the concept of "unconditional love" as a special state beyond conditional attachment is studied primarily within developmental psychology and altruism research. Evidence suggests that loving-kindness meditation (Metta meditation) can enhance empathy and prosocial behavior.
Comparative Analysis. Earthly science well describes the neural correlates of different forms of love but does not answer the question of what "happiness" is and how its "completeness" relates to the type of love. This lies within the realm of well-being psychology and philosophy.
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The direct link between unconditional love and union with the Absolute is a theological statement. Also, an important practical distinction: "love is not doing for another." MidgasKaus explicitly warns against a form of pseudo-love that leads to the degradation of the love object. This resonates with the concept of "supporting autonomy" in developmental psychology but is formulated more rigidly.
Verification Status. The effectiveness of loving-kindness meditation for increasing subjective well-being and empathy is confirmed by research. Whether "unconditional love" is an attainable ideal and what it exactly means in practice is a subject of philosophical and religious debate.
Section 5. Karma: Psychological Phenomenon vs. Cosmic Law
MidgasKaus's Position. Karma is the result of all vibrations experienced by the Soul during an incarnation. Negative karma attracts the Soul to low levels of the Spiritual World, motivating a new incarnation to "dissolve blocks." Animals have no karma. Karmic knots are blocks that distort the Divine Light.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). Karma, from a scientific perspective, is studied not as a metaphysical law but as a psychological phenomenon of belief. In 2025, a study by Cindel White and colleagues was published showing that belief in karma is subject to "self-enhancing bias": people tend to explain their own positive events by their karmic merit, and the negative events of others by their karmic retribution. This study demonstrates how motivational factors (need for self-esteem, need for justice) influence the application of karmic explanations.
Science has no methods to verify the existence of karma as an objective cosmic law. Research can only study the psychological and social effects of belief in karma.
Comparative Analysis. Here we see a complete divergence in epistemology. MidgasKaus speaks of karma as an objective law operating independently of a person's belief. Science views karma as a cultural-psychological construct. These two approaches speak different languages and operate with different criteria of truth.
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? A detailed description of the mechanism: karma is not "punishment" but a consequence of distortion of Light, "blocks" that need to be dissolved. Karma exists only for beings with free choice (humans), but not for animals. Negative karma does not lead to "retribution" but creates internal dissatisfaction that motivates a new incarnation.
Verification Status. The existence of karma as an objective law can neither be proven nor disproven by scientific methods. It is a matter of faith or personal spiritual experience. Scientific research can only study the phenomenon of belief in karma and its psychological correlates.
Section 6. Collective Meditation: Resonance Effect and Interpersonal Synchronization
MidgasKaus's Position. Collective meditation creates a common spiritual space that amplifies the vibrations of each participant according to the law of resonance of auric energy envelopes. Beginners find it easier in a group.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). Research on group meditation is a relatively new area, but some data already exists. The phenomenon of interpersonal synchronization of brain activity is observed: in people meditating together, synchronization of EEG rhythms, especially in theta and alpha ranges, is recorded. This is explained by mechanisms of neurobiological synchronization (mirror neuron system, interpersonal neural connectivity).
Comparative Analysis. Again, Earthly science confirms the phenomenon but explains it differently. MidgasKaus speaks of "resonance of the energy envelopes of the aura." Science speaks of "neural synchronization" and "interpersonal connectivity."
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The concept of "common spiritual space" as an ontological reality, not an epiphenomenon of neural activity. Also, an important practical observation: collective meditation is particularly useful for beginners — an observation that could be tested empirically.
Verification Status. The phenomenon of interpersonal synchronization during joint activities (including meditation) has been registered in studies. The question of "auric envelopes" and their resonance lies outside the scientific paradigm. However, the hypothesis that EEG synchronization may be an indicator of deeper energetic interaction is discussed in some research groups.
Section 7. Light, Darkness, and "False Light": Psychology of Spiritual Experience
MidgasKaus's Position. Contact with the Absolute is experienced by each at their own level. The previous experience is not an "illusion," but a deepening. True Light differs from false in its consequences: true leads to humility and kindness, false leads to pride.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). In the psychology of religion and transpersonal psychology (Stanislav Grof, Ken Wilber, and others), the phenomenon of the "spiritual ego" — where spiritual experiences are used to strengthen the self, the feeling of one's own exclusivity — is well described. This is one of the classic patterns in studies of spiritual development. Criteria for distinguishing "genuine" and "illusory" mystical experience are discussed in William James's "The Varieties of Religious Experience."
Comparative Analysis. Complete agreement in describing the phenomenon and its criteria. MidgasKaus essentially outlines the concept of the "fruits of the Spirit" (humility, kindness, tolerance vs. pride), which coincides with traditional criteria for discerning spiritual states in Western (St. Ignatius Loyola, St. John of the Cross) and Eastern traditions.
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The assertion that a weaker experience is not an "illusion" but a real, albeit incomplete, contact. This is an important psychological warning against devaluing one's own experience, often observed among seekers.
Verification Status. This is fully clinically confirmed and introspectively verifiable information. The criteria for discerning the fruits of the Spirit have been known in spiritual traditions for millennia and find support in modern psychology.
Section 8. Endorphin "Downturn": The Biology of Spiritual Experience
MidgasKaus's Position. After a spiritual high, a "downturn" occurs due to the depletion of pleasure hormones used for cell renewal. This is not depression, but a physiological pause. Do not doubt yourself.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). Neuroscience confirms that intense emotional states, including mystical experiences, are accompanied by the release of neurotransmitters and hormones (endorphins, serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin). After such a release, a phase of neurotransmitter depletion can indeed occur, subjectively experienced as low mood, fatigue, apathy. This is a known phenomenon in psychopharmacology and the neurobiology of emotion.
Comparative Analysis. Complete agreement in the description of the mechanism and practical recommendations. MidgasKaus provides physiologically sound advice: do not panic, do not blame yourself, allow the body to recover.
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The interpretation: these hormones are released not "for pleasure," but for cell renewal and body cleansing. Pleasure is a side effect motivating repetition of the state. This is an interesting teleological interpretation, but it does not contradict scientific data.
Verification Status. Fully verifiable and already verified. This is arguably the most "scientific" statement in the entire lecture.
Section 9. Fear, Aggression, and the End of the World: Collective Psychology vs. Eschatology
MidgasKaus's Position. Humanity is not on the verge of physical demise. The main danger is collective neurosis caused by aggression and fear. Fear does not protect but only lowers vibrations and makes one forget the immortality of the Spirit. The solution is to realize oneself as the creator of one's reality and be a "lighthouse" of calm.
Earthly Science Data (May 2026). The collective psychology of fear and aggression is well-studied. Research on the spiral of violence, the influence of media on panic spreading, and mechanisms of social anxiety — all exist. Data also suggests that mindfulness practice reduces stress reactivity and decreases aggressive reactions.
Prophecies about the "end of the world" are a subject of eschatology, not science. Science can model risks (nuclear war, climate catastrophe, pandemics) but cannot predict the "end of humanity" with probabilistic certainty. Scientists give various assessments, from pessimistic to moderately optimistic.
Comparative Analysis. MidgasKaus expresses a specific opinion (the probability of mass extinction is not high), which can neither be confirmed nor refuted scientifically. He provides no data or calculations.
Practical advice for dealing with fear — aligns with cognitive-behavioral therapy recommendations: recognize the fear-thought, check its realism, do not identify with it. The metaphor of "opening the door to the postman" is a cognitive defusion technique described in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? The assertion that fear cannot protect — that it, conversely, lowers vibrations. This is not a scientific statement (vibrations are not an operationalizable quantity in Earthly science), but psychologically it makes sense: fear indeed worsens cognitive functions and the ability to respond adequately.
Verification Status. The psychological mechanisms of fear and aggression are well-studied. The assertion about the "low probability of humanity's demise" is a forecast that cannot be verified until events occur (or fail to occur). The concept of "vibrations" lies outside the scientific paradigm.
Conclusion: What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide and What Has Not Yet Been Proven by Earthly Scientists?
Summarizing the comparative analysis, several levels of convergence/divergence between MidgasKaus's teaching and data from Earthly science can be identified:
Level 1: Complete or Partial Agreement
Neuroscience of meditation (brain changes, mental silence, reduced DMN) — science confirms the phenomenon but explains it differently.
Effectiveness of visualization requires real action — science fully confirms.
Gradual model of free will — science arrives at similar conclusions (Kerkhofs, 2025).
Criteria for distinguishing true and false spiritual experience (humility vs. pride) — fully aligns with the psychology of religion.
Physiological "downturn" after ecstasy (neurotransmitter depletion) — fully confirmed by neuroscience.
Psychology of fear and cognitive defusion — fully aligns with ACT therapy.
Level 2: What New Information Did MidgasKaus Provide? — Assertions Science Can Neither Confirm Nor Refute
Meditation as a communication channel with the Higher Self — science does not operate with the concept of "Higher Self" (as a separate entity with which one can establish contact).
The existence of curators (Guardian Angels) seeing visualized images — unverifiable by scientific methods.
Karma as an objective cosmic law (as opposed to the psychological phenomenon of belief in karma) — science can only study belief in karma.
The existence of mental fields and the Time Tape — concepts from theoretical physics, but as described by MidgasKaus (influence of thought on the Time Tape), they lack experimental confirmation.
Absence of karma in animals — science has no methods to verify this assertion.
Unconditional love as a path to union with the Absolute — a metaphysical assertion.
Level 3: Direct Contradictions with the Scientific Paradigm
Few factual contradictions, where MidgasKaus asserts something directly refuted by established scientific facts, were identified in this lecture. The main contradiction is methodological: science explains observed phenomena (mental silence, effects of meditation, brain changes) solely through neurobiological mechanisms, without invoking "Spirit," "Higher Self," or "Spiritual World." MidgasKaus asserts that these neurobiological changes are merely accompanying effects, while the true cause is interaction with non-material levels of reality.
This contradiction lies not at the level of facts, but at the level of interpretation and ontological assumptions.
The Fundamental Question
The main question raised by this comparison is: are the states described by MidgasKaus (mental silence, inner Light, contact with the Higher Self) simply functional states of the brain, achievable through attention training and neuroplasticity, or are they the opening of a communication channel with an independently existing reality of the Spirit?
Earthly science as of 2026 leans towards the first explanation but cannot definitively prove it (since one cannot "close" the supposed communication channel and see if the effects disappear — this is experimentally impossible). The metaphysical position of MidgasKaus cannot be refuted by scientific methods — just as it cannot be proven.
This leaves the reader with a free choice: to accept MidgasKaus's statements as information from a source possessing more complete knowledge of reality, or to remain within the materialistic paradigm, explaining all observed phenomena as brain activity.
Epilogue for Reflection
Regardless of whether the contact with MidgasKaus is real or not, the practical advice given in this lecture deserves attention:
Do not expect visualization to do all the work — act.
Calm the mind not by fighting thoughts, but by "transparency" towards them.
Do not be afraid of downturns after spiritual highs — it's physiology.
Distinguish true spiritual experience from false by its fruits (humility, kindness, tolerance).
Do not rush on the spiritual path — it is not a competition.
Realize yourself not only as a body, but as an immortal Spirit — and fear will lose its power.
And, perhaps most importantly: "Always be honest with yourself, and then you will automatically be honest with others."

01:29 Introduction of participants.
Alexander: Hello! My name is Alexander Larionov, I am a student and instructor at the Givina School retreat center, which is located in Russia, in the city of Sochi, and I have several questions about meditation – about states called "awakening" and "enlightenment": what lies behind them, where we are all headed. And in the process, I think other related questions will arise.
Irina: Hello, dear friends! My name is Irina Podzorova. I am a contactee with extraterrestrial civilizations, and today with us is my curator – a biologist, psychologist, specialist in extraterrestrial life forms – MidgasKaus from the planet Esler. Being a biologist and psychologist, he has studied various meditative practices from both a psychological and a biological point of view. Since a human is simultaneously a spiritual and a physical being, such states affect both their Spirit and their body. He is now here in his astral body, that is, in a part of his Spirit, and is ready to answer questions. He greets you.
02:51 Why and when meditation was given to people.
Alexander: Why was meditation given to people at all, and how to use it correctly, how to meditate correctly? Are there any criteria, advice? What should one pay attention to?
Irina: Meditation in a general sense, or some specific one?
Alexander: For example, meditative techniques related to concentration, for instance, on the breath. Anything that allows one to focus on the state of presence or the present moment.
Irina (MidgasKaus): These practices were given to people in very ancient times, when humanity was just emerging on Earth. And it was given from the Spiritual World by that part of the Spirit which we call the Higher Self. That is, the unincarnated part of the Spirit sends to its incarnated part, located in the body, directly those practices needed for communication with it.
Currently, in the modern Russian language, there is the word "meditation," which originally from Latin means reflection. But the state of meditation itself is less like reflecting on a mundane or scientific problem, and more like self-contemplation. Here, the Sanskrit term "dhyana," which means looking inside oneself, would be more accurate. And these practices have always been known to humanity.
Initially, when your race was created, extraterrestrial representatives of scientists transmitted spiritual practices (they did not call them meditative) to the first people so that each person could adapt to the world they live in, to be a harmonious, happy, and purposeful Spirit in this body.
05:13 What is meditation. The meaning of visualization practice.
Alexander: Currently, there are various meditation techniques, and one of them is called "visualization," that is, meditation on a happy life, on a certain imagined image, and immersing oneself in a state where everything is good and wonderful. Is this meditation, and does it distract from the true meaning of this practice?
Irina (MidgasKaus): In a broad sense, any internal reflection can be called meditation, that is, internal work in one's subjective personal spiritual world, which appears before the "eyes of consciousness" when you close your physical body's eyes and immerse yourself within. Any work on your mind, on your feelings, emotions in the broad sense is already meditation – as the work of consciousness upon itself, the work of the mind. We call "mind" that part of reason that is responsible for thinking and processes information.
Regarding visualization. The visualization process is entirely induced, initiated, and controlled by the imagination. Imagination is that part of the mind that is the ability to be creative, to create images and ideas. And if a person imagines their desired future, they use imagination. If they believe that they will achieve the desired future, they fill these images with their life energy. Something similar happens as when creating egregors, only not by many people, but by one person.
The visualized image remains in the Spiritual World, more specifically – it remains in that person's mental field, and this image begins to influence the Time Tape, bringing closer the materialization of precisely the future scenario they imagined. But of course, only if they believe in it. Moreover, both hidden desires and dreams of a positive nature, which bring happiness, and those of a negative nature, which bring suffering, are realized this way.
This mechanism is fully revealed in the words of Jesus Christ: "According to your faith, let it be done to you." Why did He say that? Because faith is the feeling that something invisible, non-existent in the physical world, already exists. And faith itself changes a person's perception, changes a person's will, and they begin to see the opportunities necessary to realize the plan they dreamed of. Furthermore, their dreams, their fantasies are visible to their Guardian Angels, Consultant Angels, their curators. They are visible as images in the mental field. And if these dreams lead the person towards the Light, towards enlightenment, towards awakening, towards the realization of their incarnation tasks, then their curators, Guardian Angels and Consultant Angels, will create events for them that will allow them to achieve this.
That is, what you call visualization is an open way to declare to the Universe that I want this future. But, as everyone understands perfectly well, wanting is very important for achieving a result, but it is not enough. Besides desires, visualizations, and fantasies, there must be real actions. However, daily visualization can be especially useful for those people who have not yet recognized their true desires.
There are many people who themselves do not know what kind of future they want and for what purpose. For them, it is useful to learn to dream, to ask themselves: "What do I want? How do I see this future?" This will allow them to mobilize willpower and the life force of the etheric field to realize their desires. After all, every person has desires, only some are directed towards the Light, towards enlightenment, while others may be directed towards degradation. But this is only the case if there are blocks that distort the Divine Light coming from the Higher Self through the spiritual channel into the heart of the human Soul.
Alexander: Thank you!
11:26 How to distinguish one's desires. What it means to calm the mind.
Alexander: How to distinguish desires that lead you to spiritual awakening from desires that lead to degradation?
Irina (MidgasKaus): To distinguish them, you first need to know the purpose of your incarnation and compare the desires with the purpose of incarnation: how much a given desire contributes to or hinders the achievement of the incarnation purpose.
Since a human is simultaneously a physical and a spiritual being, they have physical and spiritual desires that reflect their existence in the physical and spiritual worlds simultaneously. After all, you live both in the world of things, in the world of your body, and simultaneously – in the world of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Both are real to you, and therefore you have desires.
A desire is an acknowledged need. A person does not acknowledge all their needs. Unacknowledged needs are in their subconscious, or, as we say, in the causal body. These are programs, including karmic, instinctive, etc., that may be stored from past incarnations or from birth (if we speak of instinctive programs, they are received at incarnation). But in needs, there is a certain trigger that activates and makes this need acknowledged, and we then call it a desire. An acknowledged need as a desire includes will as its energy to make a choice corresponding to that desire.
As I said, all desires can be divided into physical and spiritual. Of course, there are gradations: physical and spiritual desires can be different. Physical desires reflect physical needs, for example, for water, food, sleep, air, and so on. Naturally, they give rise to desires, for example, to satisfy hunger, thirst, to fall asleep.
These desires are positive, but only if they do not completely replace spiritual desires, if the person does not live only by them. If a person fulfills only the needs of the physical body, as well as instinctive needs, including the need for self-preservation, reproduction, power, herd mentality, and pleasures, but at the same time does not move towards fulfilling spiritual needs, ignoring them, then they degrade, lower their vibrations, because they are not fulfilling the purpose of their incarnation. And since they lower their vibrations, their mentors from the Spiritual World begin to create conditions in their life or send people their way who will prompt them to remember their spiritual task. This is called "going through the lessons of the material world."
By their structure, humans very easily form habits at the brain level. We call this "creating neural chains." And for every life situation, including for fulfilling their desires, a person already has a ready-made automatic form of behavior, which in speed and accuracy approaches instinctive programs. When a person realizes that they need to change something, the self-preservation instinct kicks in to maintain the previous way of life. This is precisely why, when these lessons begin, it can be difficult to start one's spiritual path, that is, to start fulfilling the tasks of incarnation, to realize one's spiritual needs.
This manifests as follows. For example, a person spent a third of their life fulfilling only physical needs: working to feed their body, starting a family to realize the possibility of reproduction, etc. And they also had a spiritual need, for example, to know the world, or to develop Love, or the desire to enjoy life. Spiritual needs differ from physical ones in that they are not based on achieving something material. And when a person learns about this, they may not understand how to develop these spiritual qualities if they are already accustomed to working only in the physical world.
Take, for example, a person with a higher education. If they are used to just counting numbers, adding them up, and doing that for 8 hours a day, then coming home, then waiting for the weekend – they cannot understand how the Spirit, under these conditions, requires them to develop Love or joy. To understand this, they need to look at themselves with different eyes, the eyes of the Spirit. And meditation helps with this, among other things. It helps calm the mind – that very thinking where different information is constantly processed, including from memory.
What does "calm the mind" mean? It means to make it not a "stormy sea," where "waves" of thoughts about completely extraneous things constantly arise, but a "smooth watery mirror," in which a person will see the reflection of their needs, including their spiritual tasks. The answer from the Spiritual World, from the Higher Self, can come in mental silence, and this is facilitated by meditation, body relaxation, autogenic training, various physical and breathing exercises, provided, of course, they are performed with concentration on them. These are all auxiliary methods for a person to become accustomed to the state of self-contemplation.
Alexander: Thank you! You answered several questions at once.
Irina: I understood that he was already answering ahead.
19:46 How to stop the flow of thoughts.
Alexander: I would like to clarify one small detail: how to turn a "stormy sea" into a "mirror surface." From my experience and not only, this happens because we stop creating "waves," stop denying reality or creating oscillatory processes that generate these "waves."
Irina (MidgasKaus): Yes, that happens. But it also happens that the "waves" come from memory.
The mind consists of thinking, imagination, and memory. Moreover, thinking is the center and source of the energy of consciousness, which allows one to perceive the surrounding reality, in this case – through the sense organs of the physical body. Thinking is also the source of self-consciousness, as the feeling that it is you who exists, and that you are different from other people. This energy is formed in thinking, because the perception of the world and oneself in humans, as intelligent beings, occurs through thoughts. You think: "I am... I differ... What stands before me is a computer." These are all thoughts arising thanks to consciousness.
When people want to meditate, they redirect the energy of consciousness into the inner world. In simple terms, they gather the single energy, which is divided into two streams – consciousness and self-consciousness – simply into the stream of self-consciousness by distracting themselves from the material world. After all, consciousness is precisely directed at the material world.
When a person closes their eyes and begins to listen to themselves, they can concentrate so much that they will not hear sounds and will not even feel their body: the position of arms, legs, etc. This happens quite often and is a good sign that the person is being distracted from the body's receptors. Of course, if a person has been meditating for a long time and has extensive experience, they can concentrate on themselves, on their self-consciousness, not only with their eyes open but even while doing something else. For example, they can be walking somewhere or doing some work and meditating simultaneously.
But first, it is necessary to go through the stage where the person understands what this state is. To understand this, one needs to enter the stream of self-consciousness. Self-consciousness, when it remains the object of self-contemplation, begins to notice individual thoughts that arise. If the person is no longer using thinking themselves, i.e., not consciously thinking about anything, then certain thoughts that come to them may come from memory. For example, they might remember what happened this morning, or what they didn't have time to do, or what they need to do tomorrow. That is, certain thoughts may come from that array of data, that information stored in memory.
Also, thoughts may come to them through the Spiritual channel – from the Higher Self and from their curators. On Earth, this is called intuition, intuitive thoughts. The person may feel the presence of the Higher Self, may feel the presence of Light, certain thoughts will come to them, for example: "You are Light" or "Believe in yourself." They usually reflect not memory settings, but higher spiritual states that can be clothed in thoughts or images. For each person, this happens differently: some have more verbal-type thinking, others have more imagery-type thinking, but nevertheless, thoughts come.
When a person calms their "ocean" themselves, at the initial stage they only calm their thinking. They themselves, for example, do not think: "Where am I? What is happening to me? What do I feel?" Or something else. They simply observe themselves, and thoughts begin to appear involuntarily. If a thought comes, to calm it (not chase it away, we do not use the word "chase away," we call it "calm it so as to feel the silence of the mind, the silence of thinking"), we do not continue to follow it, do not ponder why it came, but simply allow it to pass through us and go back. We become, as they say on Esler, "transparent" to thoughts, as glass is transparent to the light of the Sun.
Alexander: Thank you. You answered another whole series of questions.
Irina: (laughs).
25:55 Free will of a rational Spirit.
Alexander: Then, perhaps, I'll go back a little and ask a question about free will, or choice. There is an opinion, and it has even been proven to some extent by scientists, that there is no free choice in a human. A signal comes to the brain, and after some time a reaction occurs – an idea, thought, or desire arises. Consequently, action is triggered to realize it, or resistance and doubt that "this is mine." But this is all already a consequence of the influence of something external on the person.
Does free will exist at all? If so, at what level?
Irina (MidgasKaus): It all depends on the understanding of the word "freedom." How do you understand this word?
Alexander: Personally, I understand the word "freedom" as the ability to control attention, to put it briefly. Depending on this, programs for realizing one or another energy are launched.
Irina (MidgasKaus): It is called "free will," meaning the possibility and ability. It is simultaneously a possibility and an ability of the energy of will to perform certain actions. The immediate moment of directing the will towards a particular action is called "choice." For this reason, free will is also called free choice. What does this mean? "Free choice" means that the decision about where to direct one's will-energy is made by the personality (entity, being) that possesses this will-energy. That is, this choice is not imposed from outside, it is not programmed into any mechanisms of their brain. The Spirit itself, which is in this body, completely freely (meaning – without influence from other beings) chooses one of the impulses from the multitude of impulses leading them to one choice or another and, accordingly, to behavior as a series of choices.
From your own life experience, you know well that you can have two or more desires simultaneously. And besides God (the Absolute, the Heavenly Father), who knows all variants of the future, no one knows, not even you yourself, what choice you will make, because the choice you make might even be a surprise to yourself. But nevertheless, you will make it freely. What does freely mean? It means not someone else does it for you, but you do it yourself.
Who makes the choice in a human? The choice is made by the mind, more specifically, its thinking, which we have already discussed. Besides the function of processing information according to certain logical laws, thinking also possesses the function of decision-making. Desires, as I said, are acknowledged needs. They exist in the heart, therefore in the Russian language it is said: "You can't command the heart... The heart desires." But the mind, although it cannot command the heart, can choose which desire needs to be realized right now, and which to postpone for later or forever.
I am often asked: "What does a person live by – mind or heart?" They live by both simultaneously, but if we look at the source of desires, it is of course the spiritual heart. But the mind helps the heart to realize the desire and turn it into a conscious goal. And free choice precisely implies the possibility of responsibility or what we call "creating karma." If there is no free choice, it means the being has no karma, it does not accumulate karma as the result of all vibrations experienced during an incarnation. For example, animals operate this way; they have no karma.
31:38 The instinctive mind of the animal soul.
Irina (MidgasKaus): Animal souls are a special type of soul.
(Irina): He is now showing me plants as well.
(MidgasKaus): But we will not talk about plants, microorganisms now, which also have their own type of soul. We are talking about those closer to consciousness, in the sense that it exists in humans. Although the consciousness of animals is, of course, completely different, it works differently, but nevertheless, it is more understandable to you than the consciousness (perception) of plants, the souls of plants.
Precisely free will in the sense it exists in humans – as a result of the work of thinking – animals do not have. How do they choose what to do then? By automatically following the instinct that was strongest at that moment in time. This is called "instinctive mind." Any animal soul has an instinctive mind, instinctive memory, which control the animal's behavior. This is precisely why animals lack abstract thinking, that is, thinking detached from their body, from their immediate habitat, etc. All this happens because animals do not have thinking, but simply an instinctive mind. They have no free choice, meaning animals are not responsible for their actions. Humans, that is, intelligent beings, are responsible for their actions, while animals do not possess responsibility and do not possess karma.
For example, if a person has lowered their vibrations, accumulated anger, pride, and other negativity in their heart, they have accumulated certain negative karma. This negative karma will attract them to a certain level of the Spiritual World. And if this level is low, they will feel dissatisfied, and to get out of this level, they will need to incarnate again, to go through it again, to dissolve those blocks that have already turned into karmic knots.
This does not happen with animals. The cycles of incarnation that exist for animal souls are completely independent of what the animal did during its life. The only thing is that there are different types of animal souls, which roughly coincide with the concept of a biological family. For example, the soul of a dog might well incarnate into a cat (this happens), but it cannot incarnate into an animal that already has a somewhat different instinctive mind, for example, a hare, a cow, etc., because they have different types of souls. Nevertheless, their conditions of incarnation do not depend on the previous incarnation. The cycle of incarnation of animal souls is under the jurisdiction of the subtle-material civilizations of the planet where these animals exist. By animals, I currently mean the entire animal world, from unicellular animals, arthropods, insects, birds, mammals, and so on.
Alexander: Thank you!
Irina: He is a biologist, so he explained the differences.
Alexander: Yes. And we also learned about animals.
Irina: He now says that they have no free choice, but we do, because they have an instinctive mind, while we have thinking that makes a choice: "This I want now, but this I don't want now" or "This I want now, but this I need. Although I don't want this, I need it." And thinking makes a conscious choice – to suppress its desire and do what is necessary, even if it doesn't want to, for the sake of some goal. This property is possessed by a rational human.
Alexander: Thank you, you summed it up.
36:22 The essence and significance of collective meditation.
Alexander: I have a question about collective practices, collective meditations. This is practiced, and there is even information that in the 21st century, meditation and spiritual practices done alone either don't work at all or have a significantly lower efficiency. What happens during collective practice? Are they an accelerator of spiritual development, or can they be done alone, as convenient, and is it all individual?
Irina (MidgasKaus): Yes, individual meditation, individual spiritual practice, differs from collective spiritual practice in its energy. And there are even such differences when people gather, as you now say, in an online space and perform some meditation, or gather in one room physically. The fact is that when many people think simultaneously about the same topic or perform the same practice, they create a common spiritual space, which, through its vibrations, amplifies the spiritual sensations (not physical, but precisely spiritual!) and feelings of each meditation participant, and therefore amplifies the effect according to the law of resonance of the energy envelopes of the aura.
Simply put, for a person who has just begun their spiritual path precisely with meditation, with knowing themselves, their inner Light, it will be easier to feel this Light, these energies in collective meditations, because there everyone will be tuned to the same "wave," and the space itself will help their aura to resonate with this state. Individual practices, of course, can be performed, and they also help a person on the path of spiritual development. If they feel union with their Higher Light, inner Light in individual practice, then in a collective setting it will be even easier to do, again, due to the resonance of energy vibrations transmitted from one aura to another.
39:11 How to distinguish the true Light.
Alexander: Feels the spiritual Light... I have often encountered experiences where a person suddenly realized at some point that something spiritual, filling, which they had felt up to that moment, turned out to be some reaction to imagination or an illusion, and they plunged even deeper, experiencing a new range of sensations. How not to be deceived and not fall into the illusion that you have already achieved something, and that what you are now experiencing or have experienced in meditation is the Absolute? How to distinguish the true Light?
Irina (MidgasKaus): Each person experiences contact with the Absolute or with the Absolute within themselves, with God within themselves, at their own level, that is, at the level of vibrations they are ready for at the present moment. Of course, if a person cleanses their spiritual heart, their aura, harmonizes their chakras more, they can feel the same Light differently. But this is no reason to call the previous experience illusory; the person simply became more sensitive to the Absolute and drew closer to It through their vibrations. That is, they may first feel it to a small degree, and then feel it to a much deeper degree, experiencing the same experience.
This depends on how harmonious the chakras are, how many blocks there are, and so on; it even depends on the state of the physical body. If there is some disharmony in it, for example, for some reason a person's amount of certain neuroregulatory hormones in the brain is disturbed, they will not be in the mood for high spiritual states, their brain's energy simply won't reach them. That also happens.
41:16 How to survive depression after contact with the Light.
Alexander: There are cases when, after experiencing deep states, opposite states suddenly occur, sometimes quite long-lasting. Why does this happen?
Irina (MidgasKaus): This really does happen because, as I said, a human is part of the Spirit, that is, a Soul incarnated in a physical body. And when the Soul reaches these high states, certain changes occur in the body related to the release of certain hormones that you call "pleasure hormones." You call them that because they are released in a certain spiritual state. They are needed to renew and harmonize all the cells of the physical body, including influencing the increase of immunity, cleansing from toxins, etc., to heal the physical body.
But it happens that a person, having experienced this bright sensation of Light, returns to their normal state, and it subjectively seems to them like despondency, depression compared to the Light they experienced, because often the human body, their brain, needs to replenish the stores of these substances, these hormones that are already doing their work. There is no need to worry here; you need to remain calm, wait, remember this Light, and understand that the body must adapt to these changes. And you will definitely experience this feeling even more enduringly, even more fully, if you are calm and do not lower your vibrations with doubts and self-accusation that you are not spiritual enough.
Alexander: That is, you need to accept yourself as you are.
Irina (MidgasKaus): This is a physiological reason plus the person's subjective perception of their normal mood as lowered and life tone as low compared to the state they were in during contact with the Light.
Alexander: Yes, this resonates greatly, it's familiar, thank you.
43:43 The path of humanity. How to let go of fear.
Alexander: A more global question. For a long time now, we have been prophesied almost the end of the world, and it is all presented as if we are getting closer and closer to it. Is it really so? Is humanity truly on the verge of destruction, or is this all an exaggeration? And what will help us finally get out of a steep dive towards destruction, if it exists, and what should we become at the new level of consciousness? Where are we heading?
Irina (MidgasKaus): Again, I will give my opinion. At the present moment, humanity is not precisely on the path to its destruction. There are, of course, some collective choices of peoples that have made this outcome more likely than it was, for example, a few years ago. But the probability that there will be a certain mass death of people is small.
What can you change? A specific person who is in a country or territory where many people believe in the destructive, creative power of their own aggression must understand that the aggression of some people breeds fear not only in others, but also in the aggressors themselves.
Fear is a natural consequence, a natural emotion that manifests as a defense against danger. If a person feels aggression, they suggest to their brain, their instinct (the part of the brain responsible for the manifestation of instincts), that they live in a dangerous world. And since they live in a dangerous world, fears awaken in them to protect them, the self-preservation instinct awakens to keep them alive, healthy, to make their physical body live as long as possible, since that is the task of the self-preservation instinct. And their own aggression or that of those around them hinders this, because it is associated with an increased risk of injury and physical death.
Therefore, it is necessary to explain to people: "If you experience resentment, anger, rage, revenge, wrath, you will provoke fears and anxieties in yourself. And all this will in no way help you protect yourself from danger, because its source is within yourselves."
To calm down, one must first learn the purpose of their incarnation precisely in this world, precisely in this place, precisely at this time when aggressive actions are occurring. After all, you incarnated at a specific time after viewing the most likely events in this current period of time, in this space. And if you incarnated precisely here and now, it means you need it for something.
It is necessary to move to a new level of thinking: stop thinking of yourself as a victim of circumstances and take responsibility for creating your own reality into your own hands. What does this mean? It means that you realize yourself as Divine consciousness, which itself creates its own reality. And if you realize this, it will be easy for you to let go of fear and aggression as emotions no longer relevant to you, to fill yourself with faith, Love, hope, even in the circumstances most terrible for the body's instincts, even if the self-preservation instinct sends you thoughts. And it can also send thoughts in the form of specific fears, that is, thought-forms clothed in the energy of fear.
Even if it sends you thoughts that your body will perish because of some weapon, and that it's scary, and so on, if you already know how to enter the Light of your heart, as soon as this instinctive thought penetrates your consciousness, you can simply place it before you, like a person who has brought you some message. As if opening the door to a postman, greet it and ask: "Can that fear you brought me really protect me from this weapon? Can it protect me from death, for example, in combat?"
Naturally, if these actions depend on the will of other people, and you are there simply as a Spirit who decided to incarnate there, then no fear can protect you. It simply lowers your vibrations because you begin to move away from the Light that is in you, from the awareness that you are an immortal Spirit, into perceiving yourself as a body. This creates a problem called "disillusionment with the spiritual path." Because when a person who was previously walking the spiritual path begins to feel like a body due to fear, they can look critically at their previous spiritual pursuits and tell themselves that they did nothing for them as a body. This can cause them to abandon these spiritual practices and plunge completely, rather than partially, into material life (work, eating, etc.).
To prevent this from happening, it is necessary to converse with oneself very truly, honestly – to ask oneself sincere questions and answer them honestly. You can deceive someone, you can deceive yourself. But if you deceive yourself, you thereby delay your spiritual development in the form of fulfilling the purpose of incarnation. Always be honest with yourself, and then you will automatically be honest with others.
How can you help others avoid negativity? You can only be an example for them of how you live in these circumstances: with calmness and acceptance treat this situation, and towards enemies – without fear, anger, any curses, with understanding, forgiveness, Love. And you will be that "lighthouse" of Light, visible from afar, and will be an example to those around you, because in you they will see an "ocean" of calmness that they lack.
Alexander: Thank you.
Irina: I hope everything is clear?
Alexander: Absolutely. The main thing is that it's very accessible, broken down point by point.
52:56 Is absolute happiness possible?
Alexander: I would like to clarify one more detail. Where are we heading as humanity? Is absolute happiness possible on Earth, or is it just a simulator for gaining experience, as a rule, painful, maybe even suffering?
Irina (MidgasKaus): Absolute happiness is possible only for the Absolute. We, His children, can approach this happiness, can merge with it, can experience it, but its limits are as infinite as the Absolute Itself. You could say there are no limits, you could say the limits are infinite, which effectively means they are absent, just like the Absolute Itself.
How can we infinitely increase the level of our happiness? First, by realizing that true happiness lies only in the Source, which on Earth is called God, or the Absolute, or the Source of everything. And to open this source of happiness within us, we need to understand that it is always within us and is opened through the development of unconditional Love.
54:22 MidgasKaus on Unconditional Love.
Irina (MidgasKaus): Why precisely unconditional Love? Because there are many forms of love on Earth, and some of them exist in all people simply as the ability to feel attraction to someone or something, an attraction. But the feeling of unconditional Love is a feeling of unity regardless of conditions. All forms of love that a person has are manifestations of this eternal, absolute Love.
But a manifestation or a part is not the whole itself, it is only a manifestation. Therefore, if a person loves only pleasant things, people pleasant to themselves, relatives, friends – this is so-called egoistic love. The love of the ego (ego as the incarnated part of the Spirit, from the word "ego" – I) is by no means bad, but here you need to understand that it is partial love. And since it is partial love, it gives only partial happiness.
If you want more complete Love, then you need to develop more complete, or, as we call it, absolute, unconditional Love. How does egoistic love differ from unconditional love? Egoistic love exists between people, for example, between parent and child, between spouses, between friends, as with unconditional Love, but with egoistic love, a person loves and accepts another only as long as they meet their expectations. But unconditional love loves always, regardless of the mental or intellectual settings of the mind. Even if one person violates some rules and norms in the mind of another, the latter still continues to love them, send them Light, wish them well, happiness, and help them, including in physical needs and spiritual development.
I want to emphasize a very important point here: "to help them" does not mean doing everything for them; it means precisely to help, to cooperate, to accompany. The desire to do everything for another person is not Love, because it contributes to shifting responsibility onto the helper and can subsequently incline the recipient of such help towards laziness, irresponsibility, and ultimately – towards refusal of their own development and towards degradation.
57:43 MidgasKaus on the pace of spiritual development.
Alexander: Many Teachers I know or have read about always rushed their students, saying that there is little time, that you need to awaken faster, faster, faster, to move to a new level of consciousness. Does this rushing actually increase your speed? Is it worth rushing at all, or does everything happen in its own time?
Irina: What exactly is the rush for?
Alexander: Fussing, searching faster for where this awakening is, traveling from continent to continent, constantly being in a state of achieving or running after awakening.
Irina: So the question is: do you need to rush after awakening?
Alexander: Yes, to achieve it, strive for it, covet it, wait for it endlessly, fuss over it.
Irina (MidgasKaus): Yes, I understand the question.
To truly achieve awakening as a full realization of oneself, one's Spirit on Earth, the fulfillment of one's tasks, it is necessary to communicate with one's Higher Self and learn from it the purposes of incarnation, how well you are fulfilling them, and what hinders this.
Striving for spiritual development is very good, but it should not be accompanied by constant dissatisfaction with oneself. It is better to be in a calmer, self-contemplative state, which for people does not combine well with rushing. As far as I have observed people, it is difficult for them to relax their body and mind if they are rushing somewhere, because it causes them anxiety, fear from the thought that they won't make it, that they won't achieve something. And fear itself causes the release of certain hormones that also affect the brain and block the release of those hormones that allow one to prepare for that very quiet, meditative state.
So each person must, of course, move at their own pace if they want to achieve success in this, regardless of the achievements of those around them. This is not a case where you are in a competition. This is a very subtle structure, a very subtle spiritual Light that can be felt by you in the silence of your heart, and rushing is inappropriate here. Therefore, if you see that someone is overtaking you in their spiritual achievements, do not berate yourself and try to achieve their results at all costs. You need to ask yourself (go inside yourself and ask): "What do I need to do specifically to realize my specific task?"
To put it figuratively, in a person's spiritual heart there is Light, and this Light is covered by certain mental veils, similar to how a beautiful bright flower is closed in a bud. And if it is not yet open, it is very dangerous to try to open it artificially, to break it open. This can lead to damage to the flower and to it never blooming again. Remember that you are beloved children of God, and in the heart of each of you is the "flower" of your talents, abilities, and high spiritual feelings. But to open them, you need silence, you need respect, you need Love for this Light and for the Light of each other.
(Irina): Does he speak clearly? What do you feel?
Alexander: Yes, very clear. What a feeling! This is exactly what I practice day after day. This is what we do in our School, we strive, at least, to do it regularly.
Irina: Contactees there too?
Alexander: No, I wouldn't say contactees, that is, there is no communication with a personality, but there is communication with the field. It is silent, the answer comes at the level of impulses. A specific someone who conveyed this to you through an image or words is absent, at least for us. There is a teacher who speaks in words.
I think I have run out of questions.
Irina: Good. Thank you.
1:03:19 Farewell from MidgasKaus.
Alexander: Unless there is some farewell message, a wish.
Irina (MidgasKaus): Yes, I would like to give a farewell message.
Dear divine Souls! Remember that you are Light, and precisely the Light of Love! If you always hold this in your consciousness and memory, you will be able to track any dark spots against this luminous background as dark images that may enter your aura, for example, from egregors or from other people, and send them Light. And this will have no effect on you – no one will be able to frighten you, anger you, make you feel guilty, and so on. Remember that you are Light and always live in the Light! Remember that the space where you live is filled with Divine Light, it is just manifested in the form of physical matter. Remember that your bodies are given to you temporarily to fulfill your task. Remember that the tasks of your life lie beyond its boundaries. I send you the Light of my Love!
Alexander: Thank you.
Irina: Thank you, dear friends! Midg answered very interestingly and sent energy, I feel it. Thank you for watching this video. I hope you found it interesting. I also thank Alexander for his interesting questions, I thank MidgasKaus for his interesting answers. I love you too, see you next time!
Alexander: Thank you, Irina! Thank you, MidgasKaus! Goodbye!
